Update 7.1 DLLRegisterServer
I installed V7.1 update this morning. I used registeritcc.bat to get the dll so that I could see the search in my .chm. I re-booted the computer, and re-compiled, but I'm still not seeing the search. registeritcc.bat gives me this error The module "itcc.dll" was loaded but the call to DllR...

Re: Image display glitch in WebHelp
You can import that handful of images from Project A into Project B. And set the import to fire each time Project B is built. That means they are always in synch. We use a global import containing snippets, variables and images to get standard stuff into each of our projects. Now I only maintain tho...

Headers and footers appear in first page
I have a simple word document that I imported to Flare. The primary target is word (get same results with word.pdf and pdf targets) I have a page layout created with Left and Right pages. These pages have headers and footers. The first and title pagelayouts have NO headers or footers. These page lay...

WebHelp Deployment

These customers need the same content delivered to their local network. Theoretically this is possible, but will we ...

Server Options
We are investigating the possiblity of moving our help system from .chm to WebHelp plus. We like the possiblity of adding our tech docs to the search results output. But we are concerned that the output must use XP or Server2003, even in v5. It seems to be lagging behind since we now have Server 200...

Re: TOC not syncing in merged chm
How did you solve this one, Samatha? I'm having a similar problem, but mine is within the TOC itself (click a topic link and the toc sync give unexpected results) I've actually turned off the sync toc, but it is STILL attempting to sync...

Skins not honored, sync gone wonky
I have HTML help compiled from the command line. This is a series of merged projects with some topics appearing in toc from external toc references. The same style sheet and skin settings are used by all projects. (don't you just LOVE imports?) A recent change to the output window size is not visibl...

Re: How Can I Use One Source File in Multiple Projects?
I did this by importing the content (in your case the leagalese) into each project. The target is set to re-import files when the content is generated. Works like a charm!
