Re: Context-Sensitive WebHelp Topic Missing CSS/Images

Problem Solved. I fixed this by adding the following code to the URL:

...//website/filepath/webhelpfolder/default_csh.htm#Content_Folder/Topic_Name.htm|sbs_flare_skin

This applies the CSS to the referenced help file at initial launch.

The webhelp popup skin appears correctly, with the TOC on the left and "Topic_Name" topic on the right, but the formatting in the topic has been ...

Images Distorted After Embedding in Word Output

After performing the workaround to embed images in the Word output file (prepare > edit links > save pictures in doc > update now), all the images appear distorted in the word file.

The images appeared fine prior to the workaround, and the image files were not moved, edited, or re-sized after the ...

Re: Section start on left (odd) page

I got it to work for PDF (a blank page is created after the TOC, with the TOC header and roman numeral page number in the footer), but in Word output, the blank page contains the header of the next book title and decimal page numbering. Also, the section break is set to Odd page, so the first page ...

Re: Section start on left (odd) page

Section start on left (odd) page

How do I get the first page of the body of the document after the TOC to start on a left (odd) page?

Yes that was a typo. I have it at #000000.

I had the border set to "solid" -- but just tried as "none" and it still didn't work.

Image Border in Word

I can't seem to get a border to appear on images in Word.

I set the "img" style border to 1px border #00000 in the CSS, and the border appears in PDF output, but not in Word.

Is there another setting to universally add a border to images in Word output?

(Note: The border also does not appear in ...

Change PDF Index Formatting?

In PDF output, index appears as a single column, with entries on the left and page numbers on the right.

is there a way to have the index mimic the default setting in Word -- where the entries are separated from the page numbers by a comma and a space?

Thanks

Re: Table Style Formatting Not Showing in PDF

Are you using a table stylesheet on the table? If so, every time you build the output (and any time you modify the table stylesheet), Flare redraws that table using the table stylesheet, which in effect strips out the td class you applied to the cell because it's not part of the defined table ...

Re: Table Style Formatting Not Showing in PDF

So I am right-clicking the text, selecting Cell Content Style, selecting the style (td.TableStyle.header), and clicking OK.

Hi Laura, thanks for the reply.

So I am right-clicking the text, selecting Cell Content Style, selecting the style (td.TableStyle.header), and clicking OK.

I generate and the text in the PDf is still plain text.

Table Style Formatting Not Showing in PDF

When I create a new table style and apply bold and an auto-number formula (Test Case {n+}: ), apply the style, save, and generate, the style does not show in the PDF. The text appears unchanged from what it was prior to the style change.

Even when I reset the class, reapply the style, and ...

Word output not retaining CSS formatting, X-refs, etc.

The PDF output is perfect, but the Word output is messed up: bullets indented improperly, outline numbering in headings different size than text, etc.

Also X-refs are not generated -- link text is formatted properly but not hyperlinked, and and error in header where x-ref is supposed to be.
