Hi,
I have a small Index in my web help and I don't want to use the search field within the Index box. What's the best way to remove the search in the index area (not the search box in the search area) ?
Cheers.

WebHelp Memory Footprint
Hi everybody,
I have a WebHelp project. When I open the generated online help file (the start htm-File) I see the online help leaving a 10MB footprint in my PC memory (I am using Process Explorer).
When I navigate the TOC I realize, there is no page loading going on (within the frameset).

Don't publish existing pages
Hi,
somehow I allways thought a page *must be* linked to from the TOC, to be part of all published pages.
Now I discovered by accident that pages that exist, but are not linked to from the TOC still get published as MyWebHelp and *can be* accessed through Search..

Change Title of Browser Window?
Hi,
I know it's somewhere out there, but I can't find it right now.
How do I change the title of the browser in which WebHelp opens?
Cheers.

Hm.... good point. I will simply do "page x".

No images in Word output
Hi,
how do I generate a Word output with embeded Images?
As soon as I move the Word doc to another folder, I tend to loose all the included Images.
Cheers.

Edit PageCount on the fly?
Hi,
I have 2 index pages with a roman numbering style and then my main doc starts again from 1 (latin) counting upwords.
The last page says something like "Page 20 from 22" - though it's the last page. Obviously Flare is counting the roman numbered indesx pages, too.

Re: Madcap logos and links in WebHelp header
If you simply exchange the Flare Logo with your own but don't want it to link to anything
simply put "void 0;" into the script part of OnClick (or "return false;" - which does basically the same).

Don't break on page break
Hi,
is there a way to mark two paragraphs or other "stuff" not to break on page breaks?
Let's say I have paragraph A and following paragraph B. In a print layout I want them to be ALWAYS on the same page.
Thx.

Re: Link to local PDF File
Propeller Heads? - I like that :-)
yea, I agree with what you say. That's how I think it should work... I just don't know how to do it.
When I try to do a link, I can link to:
- Place in Document
- Doc currentyl open
- File in current folder
- Recent file
- Topic in project
- External topic ...

Link to local PDF File
Friends
,
what's the best way to link to a local PDF?
I know, I can link to a website and I can link to topics, but I want to have a relative link to a PDF file. Lying somewhere in the Flare output file structure.
Cheers,
Jan

div.MCMiniTocBox
Hi,
do I understand it right, there is *no way* to modify styles concerning div.MCMiniTocBox inside FLare (4.1) ? (???)
Do I really have to go into MadCap.css and work in there?
(What I wanna do: I want to remove padding-left:20px from div.MCMiniTocBox)
Cheers,

AccordionTitle
Hi everyone,
how do I access the style of the AccordionTitle? I know where it is in Skins (but there I can only access font and color).
I want to get it left-aligned and other stuff... ? If I write it in my own css file it doesn't seem to work.
Thanx a lot.

What's the best way to work with Styles in Flare?
When I open /Stylesheets/Styles.css with an external CSS editor, there seem to be many styles missing in that file (can't find classes like TocEntry_TocEntry for example).
But working with the internal Stylesheet editor seems very, very cumbersome ...
