Re: Index keyword search not showing results
I removed MOTW from all of my projects and rebuilt the output. Still getting the same results. The index search does not automatically advance to the keyword I type in the index search field on the index tab.

Re: Merging project indexes only
By the way, I am producing Webhelp output (not Webhelp Plus). We used to produce HTML Help output from these same projects and had to use Microsoft's Windows Help Compiler to do this merge. I am surprised that Flare does not have a means for doing this without resorting to 3rd-party tools.

Merging project indexes only
I have a large help system with a master project and numerous sub-projects. Some of the projects include TOCs that should be merged into a single, master TOC which I have built in the master project. The remaining projects do not have a TOC, but do have index keywords that I would like to merge with ...

Re: Index keyword search not showing results
I'm impressed that I was able to post a topic that has even the Senior Propellor Maximus folks scratching their heads! Really? No takers on this one?

Index keyword search not showing results
When typing a keyword in the index in my output, no result is selected in the index. Indexing search does work when I open the .htm file directly from the file server. It is not working when I'm accessing the help from within the application on a Windows server. Is there a browser setting I must ...

duplicate footer in output
After I updated my footer proxy in my Web help online output and rebuilt it, the old footer is still there and the new footer is shown below it. The footer proxy is comprised of the product name variable and copyright date. In fact, some projects are showing multiple old footers, from previous ...

Re: Can't close help topic
Thanks to Madcap support, we've solved the problem. It was caused by a javascript call that existed in some of the topics in my project. The call, ehlpdhtm.js, came along when the project was imported from our original Robohelp system. Flare does not need this file so it can be deleted. It will show ...

Re: Can't close help topic
Additional information since original post: I found that I am able to successfully close the 'defective' .chm file on another computer running Windows Vista, using a newer version of the hh.exe system file. Is anyone aware of known problems with the hh.exe file on certain operating systems?

Can't close help topic
I am unable to close a help topic in a .chm file. The close (X) button does not work. This is true for any of the topics in one particular project, whether the topic is accessed on a local PC or on a network. I recompiled the project with no errors. I am even unable to close the topic that displays ...
