Re: Getting a line in print outputs only
There is no class applied to these images, and I checked the default properties for all images.
The padding and border were added in Capture. It was just a test to see if the lines would stay right next to the image, or outside of the padding and border.

Re: Getting a line in print outputs only
Sorry, I didn't answer your question very well. That's what I've been using all along. I tried Word to PDF only after you asked.
When I add padding and a border, the line is outside of the border.

Re: Getting a line in print outputs only
I was going straight to PDF.
I tried with Word first, but I see the lines in the Word document, and they are also there in the Word-generated PDF.
They're in the XPS output, but less so. Unfortunately, we have to use PDF.

Re: Getting a line in print outputs only
Hm... interesting. The lines only appear in print output, though; the images look fine for WebHelp.

Re: Getting a line in print outputs only
Yes, I have the print DPI set to 300, because the regular images in my PDF output from Flare don't look very good...
The lines appear on both images that I captured with Capture, and images from old screenshots which I edit with Capture.

Re: Getting a line in print outputs only
I'm working with Flare 4.2.0 and Capture 3.0.16.
I've noticed that the "shadow" only appears when I set the print DPI to greater than 96 in Capture. The higher it is, the thicker the lines are, even though the size of my image is the same.
If a shadow was applied to the entire image, where would I ...

Re: Getting a line in print outputs only
I'm having the same issue: a black line that appears to be a border on the images for which I have set a print format. It's usually on the right and bottom of the image, but sometimes on the top too.
Did you ever find out what was causing this?

Thanks again for your reply!
That is what is causing the problem:

Re: PDF TOC, cross-reference, and vertical-align issues
In case this may help anyone in the future, with regards to my issue #2, here is a re-iteration of the problem and the best solution I found.
Each of my topics begins with an H1 header. For print output, when my cross-references use "{h1}" or "{title}," the H1 header or title of the topic with "mc ...

Re: PDF TOC on new page and floating issues
Thanks for your help!
1. I double-checked everything, and it still looked fine. Finally, it worked, but I had to add the text "Contents" in a decoration frame in a page layout created specifically for the printed TOC.
2. a) This is the structure:
<div class="floatright">

I'm also having trouble with this. A few suggestions were posted in this thread: http://forums.madcapsoftware.com/viewto ... =10&t=8306. None of them worked for me, however.

PDF TOC on new page and floating issues
1. I added an H1 heading, "Contents," before the output TOC proxy on my table of contents page. There is an unwanted page break after the heading. I've tried two things: setting "page-break-after: avoid" to the heading, and surrounding the heading and proxy with a tag that had the "page-break ...

Re: PDF TOC, cross-reference, and vertical-align issues
Thanks for your ideas.
I tried modifying the vertical-align property of the surrounding text, but nothing changed. I'm using just the <code> tag for my monospace font, and when I copy its properties to a generic class (".mycode") nothing changes. The code class is set to inherit the vertical-align ...

Re: PDF TOC, cross-reference, and vertical-align issues
Thanks so much for your prompt reply!
1. Changing the left margins of the p.TOC# classes didn't do anything. I think it only affects those heading levels in the printed table of contents, not within the text.

PDF TOC, cross-reference, and vertical-align issues
1. I created styles for my topic headings and modified their mc-heading-level property to get my print TOC, but now, in the text, these headings are indented according to their heading level. Is there a way to structure my TOC with the mc-heading level property, but not have the affected titles ...
