I have used Flare before BUT it was a loooooooooong time ago (Robohelp then Flare v1) and lots of bits are better / different now, so trying to remember from those times is sometimes not easy. I am getting to grips with it and some things are now starting to fall into place (...

We currently have in Word graphics within documents, these graphics occupy the whole page apart from a header, footer and an illustration title between the graphic and footer. I am trying to re-create this in Flare (primarily for pdf output) so I added a ...

Flare 3.1 and CVS

We are updating to 3.1 and plan to use Dotnet help instead of HTML help. In the 3.1 Getting Started Guide there is mention of source control integration but I cannot find many actual details, we use CVS at present and I keep the .CHM files under this control (because our developer prefers it this wa...

Feedback

I have just had a look at the new feedback process and a review copy of Flare 3.1 as I am thinking of upgrading from a previous version. This seems a really good idea but why do people have to rate a topic if they just want to post a comment ? or is it me that is looking at this wrongly (I only open...
