Hi, will it be possible to create a plain, single page html?
We're trying to convert odt file content (heavily formatted) - via word - to plain html.
thanks

Table Borders not showing when imported from WORD
I'd be grateful if you could share your experience related to importing WORD tables and styles and outputting to WORD/PDF.
My tables in WORD have borders all around, but do not seem to show when output via Flare. I've gone back to the source document and reassigned them, but that seems to have ...

Conditional Tagging for TOC elements
I've set a negative conditional tag and assigned it to a number of TOC elements, but they don't seem to stick. It appears that the updated TOC is not saved. A separate target is created to specify the exclusion for the condition.
When I build the target, the condition is ignored. What am I doing ...

Hi, I've just starte/d importing from WORD, and outputting to WORD/PDF, and am not managing to control 'new topics' in TOC and page breaks for sections that start with non-H type styles.

Re: How to override Local Formatting
Thanks Kevin and Dave,
Good to know that I can view and edit the stylesheet from within Flare.
Do the standard styles in Flare not include devices like box around the text and the header on the line?
If they do, which styles do I use, respectively?

Re: How to override Local Formatting
Hi Dave,
Thanks for your assessment. I'll send you a screenshot to your private address (if I can) to show you what the help looks like. It's nothing complicated.
At the next opportunity, I'll start a Flare stylesheet from scratch.
Thanks for your patience and sticking with me till the end!

Thanks Dave.

Re: How to override Local Formatting
I just realized another problem with this manual replacement method...
Most of the files are single sourced from another project and merged. The colour for h1 needs to remain as it is in the other project.
The merge doesn't happen often, but would be nice to minimise the amount of work required ...

How to override Local Formatting
It appears that local formatting had been used to apply colour to h1 style, which has no colour set in the stylesheet. I want to apply a different colour en mass, but changing the colour on the stylesheet is ineffective. I have 100 lines/pages to change. Moreover, a naming uri error comes up from ...

Thanks Kevin, for the clarification. I suppose that a snippet snips it out.

Re: Stylesheet applied to topic but not built
Problem solved. The Master Page had the default style sheet associated with it - changed it to the new one.
(I hadn't created the Master Page myself, so didn't know much about it. Removed the default css then saw that the Master page was missing it during the build process, etc.)
