Thanks for the suggested work-arounds. FYI, I did get an official response from Tech Support: Thank you for contacting MadCap Technical Support. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to set a custom 'My Templates' directory. I've submitted a feature request to the developers regarding this issue....

I've used the global linking feature to set up a global file and two subprojects. (Nice.)
I've created IDs to CSH topics in the alias files in each project. Do I need to merge the subproject's alias files with the global file? Or does it work automagically?

I've defined a couple of condition tags (ImportNo and ImportYes) and all worked fine. Now,I'm adding new topics and I can no longer select one of the conditions (ImportNo).
