I got this fixed, thanks to Alvaro. Turns out the target was half-heartedly trying to do 'MadCap WebHelp Plus' instead of just 'MadCap WebHelp.'

TOC not appearing
As per the diagram below, the TOC in my OLH is not appearing:
missing_toc.GIF
It tries to load, takes a while, and then either fails (IE) or hangs (Firefox).
Any ideas as to why this might be the case? It appears just fine when the online help is viewed in UNIX through Firefox, but fails to ...

What is the function of the fh$mod.dat file?
In the Content/ folder of my online help system there's a file called fh$mod.dat. What is its function? More specfically is it important, and can I rename or delete it? I am trying to check my online help system into a Preforce client in UNIX and it doesn't accept the $ character. Can I rename it to ...

How do I export the report log out of Flare?
As I run a Flare compile, it generates the report log (of all the errors, broken links, and so on). This .mclog file appears in the Project\Reports folder. Is here some way to export the content of that file out of Flare and into something like Excel or even Notepad?

Re: Keyword not getting highlighted after search
I have a follow-on problem from the one above. The search highlighting now works due to a script change by now the search returns the name each man pages as NAME. It uses the proper name for the non-man-page topics - that is, the ones I created in Flare.

Re: Keyword not getting highlighted after search
Thanks Lisa,
I tried adding your stripped-down version of the relevant code, but that didn't seem to work either. I suspect that the issue is not fixable through the source code alone. I think I'll need to convert the HTML to XHTML by importing into Flare or make my HTML code valid in XHTML (as per ...

Re: Keyword not getting highlighted after search
Hi Lisa,
I tried adding the code as you suggest (directly to the source code, outside of Flare) but it didn't have any impact. This is code I added:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<html xmlns:MadCap="http://www.madcapsoftware.com/Schemas/MadCap.xsd" MadCap:lastBlockDepth="1" MadCap ...

Keyword not getting highlighted after search
I have two kinds of HTML files in my project - ones that have been converted into 'Flare HTML' after being imported and ones that have never been converted in Flare, just imported. When I do a keyword search, the search works correctly, finding all instances. The problem, however, is that for the ...
