That was it. The default document mode is 8; when I switch it to 11 from the Developer Tools' Emulation tab, everything immediately works just fine. How aggravating.

That's a good thought, but doesn't seem to be the issue. It doesn't look like compatibility mode is turned on. I did notice that enterprise mode was enabled, but I have an option in the Tools menu to disable it and doing so did not fix the problem.

I never did find a solution to this. It hasn't been a major issue so I've ignored it until now, but I'm considering starting over with a new HTML5 skin to see if that fixes the problem.

There's no menu.png listed when I view the site's source. But would it be there, or defined in a style sheet somewhere? The source isn't going to change when I resize the page and the image shows up when I'm viewing it at tablet sizes.

I had the exact same problem after upgrading to Flare 9.1 (though I don't know if it was due to something I did or a change with the upgrade).

To fix it, open your WebHelp's skin and click the WebHelp Setup tab. In the Navigation Pane section, check the Pane Size. Mine was set at 0 px.

After resolving conflicts between two versions of the same file, where does Flare put the backup of the local copy it says it creates? Seems I was missing something. Flare doesn't let you accept or reject changes it accepts automatically for you; you can only affect conflicts that are unresolved.
