Has anyone had problems with the way Chrome displays the WebHelp toolbar? The buttons on my tool bar are are scrunched together and one actually overlays another.
If so, is there a fix that anyone knows about?
The toolbar looks fine in FireFox and IE (haven't tried Safari yet).

Never mind. The Use TOC Depth setting was the culprit.

Flare 8: PDF output ignoring print support settings?
I'm in the process of converting to using Flare 8 from Flare 7. For my PDF output, it looks like Flare is ignoring the Print support Page Break settings for my H1 style. Setting the page layout break on a file works, but not the stylesheet heading. Has anyone else seen this?

Re: Web Help skin: TOC Selected?
? I have my reasons for not wanting to switch to a different format right now.
Besides, the HTML 5 topic print feature doesn't provide the output that I want so I don't see it as a viable option at this point in time. (and yes, Printing topics IS important to my customers).

Ah, but I still want to use the WebHelp format for my current help system. I'm not sure I'll be able to move to HTML 5 until the next release of our product.

Printing multiple topics from an edoc library
I'm experimenting with using the WebHelp output to create an electronic library of our customer-facing product information. What I think will work is to make one large WebHelp project that pulls all of the other projects into one place. I can then publish the large project to the webserver, link to ...

Re: Content at bottom of last page
I put my content in a text box and then set the top margin to get it to move to near the bottom of the page. Of course, if the content changes on that last page, I have to go back and muck with the top margin settings again. Hardly an ideal solution but I get close -- sort of. I keep thinking that ...

Yup, all good points. Thanks for the thoughts.

Re: Need Custom Skin (Branding)?
You can add my voice to the request for enhanced abilities for customizing skins. The MadCap gallery shows, essentially, the same design but with different graphics - nothing special. I'd love some guidelines about what files you need to work with to get true customization. Is there some type of ...

Re: What's your opinion about Contributor?
Thanks for the input. I think my big concern was how well non-tech writers would be willing to use a different tool, other than the Wiki or their beloved Word.

What's your opinion about Contributor?

Thanks. Oddly enough, I totally forgot about being able to set up a publishing target - which would help with getting all of the WebHelp files over to the webserver. I need to drink more coffee :-)

Integrating WebHelp & other stuff into Corporate Web site
What I'd like to be able to to do is use Flare to create all of my source material for product docs, knowledge base articles, and anything I post on the Web and then be able to be able to post the content on our Corporate website in a reasonably efficient manner.

Problem with creating 3-part running footer in Page Layout
I'm having some issues with getting a 3-part running footer to display correctly using Page Layouts with an output to PDF.

Re: Word output very different from my PDF output
What I did was create a new medium for my Word output and change the margin-left setting for ol and ul to points (pt) instead of ems. Now my list items align correctly.
For my PDF output, I use my original print medium instead of the Word medium.
