Re: Problems viewing movies from a network drive
Actually, I think you may be right, there must be a conflict with the web browser. I changed my default browser to IE and now the files open just fine in silverlight format. I'm still puzzled though how I can fix this in firefox.
Thanks again,
Katie

Re: Problems viewing movies from a network drive
Hi there, Yes, the flash file works just fine, the only problem is that it is not possible to pause the movie or move forward/back frames using the toolbar buttons. Apparently this is a common problem/bug with the flash outputs according to other posts on the forums?? With respect to the security se...

Problems viewing movies from a network drive
Hi there, I am using Mimic to create some training videos which need to be accessible to all employees in my company, therefore I am trying to put copies/publish my movies to a network drive. At first I used flash output and publishing to a network drive worked just fine, but there were problems wit...

Re: Found non-table cell inside table row
Hi again,
I think I may have found a solution, I re-created the project from the word file, but instead removed the TOC links and stripped down most of the formatting. The error hasn't appeared again in Flare.
Thanks,
Katie

Re: index problems
Hi there, So I had a quick question relating to the problem with the margin in the p.indexheading style, I'm sorry if I have missed it along the way but I don't think I saw any reference to this solution in the thread :) I have an index in my PDF target, and also can't change the top margin for p.in...

Re: Crossref adding space for some topic headings
Ah, nevermind, i think that the addition of the   code is the problem, as the example I provided in the previous post is now fine.
Thanks so much Lisa for the help,
Katie

Re: Crossref adding space for some topic headings
Hi Lisa, Thanks for the suggestion, I checked the text editor but there doesn't appear to be a space before the heading title. For example, in my bulleted list, the xref item "Event Select Toolbar" has a space in front of it while the item "Sensor Edit Toolbar" doesn't. Pasted be...

Re: Trouble displaying Mini-TOC in PDF output
Hi there,
I'm not sure what the secret is for this problem, the only thing that I could get to work was to re-create the project and copy all my files and styles into a new blank flare project with PDF output. Sorry if its not much help, good luck!!

Crossref adding space for some topic headings
Hi there,
I have bulleted list and used cross-references to link the bullet headings to topics. Sometimes however, these xref items have an extra space added in front of the text, so that not all of the items in the bullet list line up vertically. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much,
Katie

Hi there, I am having the same problem where the search tab in HTML Help outputs a "No search topics found" dialog. The link to the article posted in this thread is no longer available, can someone suggest actions I might take to fix my search option? I re-registered the itircl.dll on my m...

Re: Error Importing from Word - Problem(s) in background thread
Thanks for the suggestions. I deleted everything from the Temp folder, but it still seems to create a new folder when I try and import a word file. This is so weird as I have created all my flare projects from word documents thus far on this computer. Anyways, for now I've created the rest of the pr...

Re: Trouble displaying Mini-TOC in PDF output

Re: Trouble displaying Mini-TOC in PDF output
Hi Lisa and Chris, To answer your questions: -I put the mini-toc in a new topic with the same page layout as the rest of the chapter, not in a master page or snippet. -The <title> tags are empty in the topic properties dialog. -I created a blank project with PDF target, created an outline TOC topic,...

Trouble displaying Mini-TOC in PDF output
Hi there, I'm new to Flare and am having trouble getting the mini-TOC at the beginning of each chapter of my PDF target to display. When I build my output nothing appears where the mini-TOC should be in the PDF output. I inserted each mini-TOC into a topic that is linked to a top level of my outline...
