Missing context ID
A very strange thing is happening in my help file. One (and only one) help topic is not being displayed in my client's application when a user clicks the help icon for that page. This below code is what the developer gave me; it looks like the context ID is missing (it should not be zero). Any idea ...

Re: Graphics not displaying in Word output
Great advice from everyone. I did have to go to the last page of the doc because it's long, but after I did that and followed the other steps, it worked!
Thanks so much,
Donna

Re: Graphics not displaying in Word output
Yes, I'm following that exact procedure. I just discovered that the graphics are not all in the Resources/Images folder, so maybe that's what's causing the problem.

Graphics not displaying in Word output
A client needs a copy of our help in Word format. Everything looks fine except that the graphics are not displaying when I send the file to them -- they are only displaying in the Word version on my laptop. I've tried breaking the links and embedding the images in the Word doc as another posting ...

Linking to TOC from a help topic
There's probably a really easy way to do this, but I can't figure it out. I want to include a link to the TOC in each help topic (our application won't let us display the TOC in a pane while a user is viewing a topic). Can anyone help?
Thanks,
DM

Re: Duplicate topics appearing in PDF
I figured this out. I had two different books pointing to the same topics, so that was the problem. Thanks!

Duplicate topics appearing in PDF
I'm saving individual books in my help file as PDFs but when I display the output, I notice that many of the topics in the PDF are duplicated about halfway through my TOC. Anybody have ideas about why this might be happening?
I have checked my TOC and my PDF target and everything looks fine. I'm ...

Re: Header file problems
Nobody has worked on the header file but me, so the entries haven't been edited outside of Flare. I'm not getting any error messages that header files are missing, either.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Donna

Two versions of the header file?
I've written a help file for both internal and external customers, who each see a different version of our application and help. Our internal help contains many more topics, while the external help contains only a subset of those topics. Since there are two versions of the help, I'm assuming I also ...

Header file problems
I'm trying to create a header file for my developer to use for context sensitive help and I'm having trouble. When I save the alias file and later reopen it, only some of my entries are displayed. Any idea why? I'm using Flare version 4.2.1.
