What happens when you edit a topic in Flare that is already in Wordpress? How do you keep that mapped to the correct topic in Wordpress so that you can update it and maintain the comments thread that is tied to that post?

MadCap probably could do this - so it's a good idea to ask them or put in a feature request, so they know.
You can produce a HTML5 output that has no skin (set it to none ), and if you ignore the head section (i.e. script and CSS links), then the content inside the body tag will be the plain HTML ...

It depends on what you are trying to accomplish.
Are you importing content from WordPress to Flare, or are you wanting to use Flare as your editor, but Wordpress as your publishing engine? Understanding your use case better would help us provide better advice.

I've read through many, many articles and guides about this, but there is no "good" solution for integrating a "seamless" content solution from Flare to WordPress. This isn't really something I *want* to hard-code, but might have to. Any suggestions?

What you mean by "break"? Prior to Flare 7, Flare-generated WebHelp wouldn't open at all in Chrome. With Flare 7, it does. What are you seeing that is "broken"? Just curious.
