Eclipse Help, Cheat Sheets - In Action!

This was not an easy process, and I'm sorry to say, Flare did not make it much easier.

Re: runtime build of help system

To revive this a bit...

Anybody had any luck not only creating Eclipse Help, but using Flare to (easily) author the text used in an Eclipse Cheat Sheet?

Re: Flare and WordPress

What happens when you edit a topic in Flare that is already in Wordpress? How do you keep that mapped to the correct topic in Wordpress so that you can update it and maintain the comments thread that is tied to that post?

That's where the current Flare model starts to fall apart.

I worked with ...

Re: Flare and WordPress

MadCap probably could do this - so it's a good idea to ask them or put in a feature request, so they know.

Flare and WordPress

I've read through many, many articles and guides about this, but there is no "good" solution for integrating a "seamless" content solution from Flare to WordPress. This isn't really something I *want* to hard-code, but might have to. Any suggestions?

I'm beginning to wonder if Flare is a viable ...

Re: Favorite Flare 7 Features

Question: How are you "previewing" the topic in Chrome?
Build/View Primary
View generated output - yes or
View output - select Chrome

Launches the first time then does not launch in Chrome afterwards.

Re: Favorite Flare 7 Features

What you mean by "break"? Prior to Flare 7, Flare-generated WebHelp wouldn't open at all in Chrome. With Flare 7, it does. What are you seeing that is "broken"? Just curious.

With the previous 9.x version of Chrome, Flare 7 played nice - not a problem at all. When I upgraded to Flare 7 launching ...
