Re: Project Clean Up - Unused Images

Perfect, thank you.
I suppose I should have known this after all these years.

Project Clean Up - Unused Images

I have an older project that's been growing for years.
Is there a quick way to show all images that are not used?
Possibly show all images have a null value for "Linked From" ?
I can do this individually with the Link Viewer, but this will take a very long time.
Currently using Flare 7.2.1

Re: Flare and Office 2010?

Thanks for pointing that out - hadn't seen the update. I'll give it a shot.
I was given this laptop with Windows and Office pre-installed - not sure if an earlier version of Word was ever installed.

Re: Flare and Office 2010?

That's where I started :)
Before moving to office 2010 and Win 7, it wasn't an issue - a quick Word output target wasn't a big deal for the few people that insisted on using Word - it was actually one of the nice features of Flare - I could generate whatever output they were comfortable with using.

Re: Video player (best/smallest there is) ?!?

If it's webhelp you're creating, and the computer from which it is viewed has internet access, you could embed external links to YouTube videos within the help output. That would require the videos be placed on YouTube or somewhere else of course, but we've done this very successfully in the past ...

Re: Flare and Office 2010?

That's a shame - I only need the Word output for a few reviewers who insist on reviewing and commenting in Word.
I guess I'll wait and see what Flare 7 will bring to the table - version 6 brought nothing interesting enough to upgrade.
Hoping for an output similar to what the latest version of ...

Re: In Flare, can I set rules using XSDs.

You'll probably be limited to what the CSS will allow you to do (for example, defining widows and orphans for a heading or paragraph) - I haven't come across anything more advanced than that, though

Re: Flare and Office 2010?

I haven't been able to generate Word output with Flare 5.0.1 on Windows 7 with Word 2010 installed - I get the error "Internal error: Microsoft Word 2003 or newer with the latest service pack is required for this feature."

Re: Word output from Flare V6

Any more news on this issue?
I'm running Flare 5.0.1 on Win 7 (64bit) and get the same error when I try to generate Word output - I have Word 2010 installed.

Re: Whats the best way to exit a MadCapDrop Down Control?

That's the fastest way I've found in design view.
Before I discovered that, I was opening the code view and just adding an empty paragraph there <p> </p>

Re: HTML TOC

I was looking for this same answer. I have not been able to find anyway to do this, yet.
One of our CHM files opens automatically after an MSI install - since this topic is not the first in the set I wanted to have the ToC expanded to show where in the help it was.
Has anyone stumbled across an ...
