Re: Build error when adding pdf file to TOC
Right. Now I remember. I created a link from a new TOC topic. The only thing I can think of is that the error I'm getting is pointing to a directory that I originally set as the publishing destination, but then changed it. It seems to still want to point to the old one. Not sure if there's a way to ...

Build error when adding pdf file to TOC
I have several projects with the pdf version of help appearing in the online TOC, but one of them is failing on build with a compiler error:
"File can not be generated to 'Printed' ouput: <source content directory>. But neither my pdf target nor destination is pointing to that directory. I compared ...

Custom TOC icon for a single topic
I have a TOC entry that links to pdf output in my Webhelp, but I want a specific icon just for this topic. I know where custom icons are stored, but can't figure out how to apply one to a single TOC topic. The Advanced tab on the TOC entry allows you to pick HTML help icons, but not others.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Customizing an ordered list style
Ok. Finally got this to work. I now have a list style (actually 2 styles) with a red number, default black text, that otherwise looks and behaves like the default number list style in the madcap editor. It works like in Framemaker, using a start and continue class. Here's what I did:
1. Under span ...

Re: Customizing an ordered list style
Turns out this really doesn't do what I want. I want an actual resuable style that behaves like any other list style, but it looks like it can't be done with standard lists, as Dave points out. Oh well. Thanks all!

Re: Customizing an ordered list style
Thank you LTinker68. Using the span class is the way to go. I have one more issue. Getting the text to wrap properly. I'm getting this:
1. Cat ...
in the hat
And I want
1. Cat ..
in the hat
I can't figure out how to fix this. If I can resolve this it might be worth my writing this up in detail ...

Customizing an ordered list style
I want an OL style where the ordinal number (or letter) has a different style than the associated text. Specifially, I want the number to be a different color. For example:
1. Dog
2. Cat
I've played with the style sheet quite a bit but can't figure this one out. Anyone?
Thanks
