Re: Internal error: There are multiple root elements
If you scroll to the right in the error dialog, there are some additional columns, such as File. These might also provide you with useful information.

OverDrive case study
I just received the mail-out about the OverDrive case study. (https://www.madcapsoftware.com/casestudy/OverDrive.aspx?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=20140903)

Re: Cannot change relationship item link color in PDF output
I appreciate your time, Dave. You've given me several helpful hints, including your last one about a blank stylesheet. In fact, even with a completely blank stylesheet, reltable items are still blue & underlined in my PDF output!
Still, I'd be grateful to hear from anyone else out there who might ...

Re: Cannot change relationship item link color in PDF output
What didn't work - the colour in the PDF, or the HTML5, or both?
It's the color in the PDF which isn't working -- I think we may have our wires slightly crossed, since the HTML5 output was never a problem. Sorry if I gave you that impression.
That example works fine for me; setting ...

Re: Cannot change relationship item link color in PDF output
Thanks. Well, I wish I could say it worked, but it didn't. :) (I even corrected a typo in my example code above where I didn't have the "." in fron of each MCRelationshipsProxy entry.)
Do you think it matters that my stylesheet is linked, i.e. it imports another stylesheet?

Re: Cannot change relationship item link color in PDF output
Hi Dave, thanks for the quick response. Just to be clear: Are you saying that I should: 1) set the desired link color on the relationshipsItem link, and then 2) set the link color within the proxy to 'inherit'? In my case, that would look like the following:
MadCap|relationshipsItem
{
mc-leader ...

Cannot change relationship item link color in PDF output

Re: Create a class for <a> in relationship tables?
To find out the styles used in the output, I'd suggest looking at the output file in text mode, or inspect it using a tool like Firebug for FireFox.
Once you've found the container tag for the relationship group heading, use CSS to set the styles for links within that container; e.g ...

Re: Create a class for <a> in relationship tables?
Hi msquared. Actually, I was referring to the behavior and appearance of the individual hyperlinks in the reltable, not to the headings within the reltable. Unfortunately, the hyperlink-related properties are not exposed in MadCap|relationshipsItem. But thanks for your input!

Create a class for <a> in relationship tables?
After searching through the forums it seems a couple of people have asked whether it is possible to modify the behavior/appearance of the links in relationship tables, but not received an answer. So I am asking again here. :)

Re: Flare 4.2: No snippet conditions in HTML Help target?
Hello Lisa. Well, the interesting thing is that the snippet conditions were not included/excluded in either the Web Help or in the HTML Help targets. This is because I had assumed that snippet conditions are only included/excluded at topic level, from the Properties > Snippet Conditions tab. And, as ...

Flare 4.2: No snippet conditions in HTML Help target?
Hello. I hope this is the right forum for this:
A colleague of mine is generating a CHM file (HTML Help target). Three of the topics share a snippet. This snippet includes three snippet conditions, one corresponding to each of the aforementioned topics.

Re: Apply page layout without incrementing chapter number
I came up with a workaround -- or perhaps it's just the way I should have done it for my purposes in the first place, although I wouldn't say it is the most intuitive approach.
Instead of using chapter breaks to create the actual chapters in my document, I now use section breaks (with master pages ...

Re: Apply page layout without incrementing chapter number
Hi Lisa
In my document, the landscape page in question happens to be at the end of a "true" chapter, so by design, the chapter number increments and {n} reverts to 0.
However, I tested your question by making the topic the second-to-last in the chapter instead of the last. And yes, {n} does seem ...

Re: Apply page layout without incrementing chapter number
I have a related issue, so I hope you all won't mind my adding to this thread!
I too have a page layout (landscape) that should still have the same chapter numbering as the previous page. However, I am dealing with a second-level autonumber, i.e. {chapnum}.{n+}. Lisa's hint about the "Same as ...
