Sorry I searched and searched. Is there an option to turn off all hyperlinks (be them URLs or Popups) so that when my printed .pdf is outputted my links are not blue underline hyperlinks? If you click on the link they are obviously broken.
Thanks for the help.

Our intention is to have users launch MadCap Flare (version 7) and open the .flprj files and project folders from SharePoint so that the writer can edit the documentaion and then save the work back ...

Re: Anyone use a pdf link to the printed version of their build?
I have a link to my PDF on a "Resources" topic. I created a publishing destination for my PDF target that puts the PDF in a "docs" folder in the Resources folder of the project.
That just sounds like a place where you are saving your .pdf and then linking to it via the original answer.

is there a reason why you don't want to use the java script option?
It's a longer process. I have a development team who uploads and manages the server, where these files go. So in essence I have to send them the build they upload it then I would have to figure out the file path fix the Java code ...

Re: Anyone use a pdf link to the printed version of their build?
Thanks lacastle, that idea was the easiest solution and my last resort. I was thinking more of a .pdf icon in the toolbar that when clicked on would launch the .pdf file.
I have added the image to the toolbar icon set now I would need to create the "hyperlink".
It seems the only "action" is to ...

Anyone use a pdf link to the printed version of their build?
So I have 2 targets, my primary being a WebHelp output that gets accessed online via a help button in our software.

Can you classify Topics as Books?
I need certain topics to be books so that the book icon shows and not the topic icon. If I change the topic icon in the Skin it changes all topics to book icons. I don't want to do that. I can split my topic into 2 and place the second portion under the topic thus making the parent topic a Book but ...

Re: I need help adding a Dictionary within a Topic
Are all 20 of your countries in one target? or do you have different targets for each country? if you had different targets, you can use conditions to make only the appropriate glossary/dictionary be included.
Yup all the same target. It's not like the Brazil folks will only be looking at Brazil ...

Re: I need help adding a Dictionary within a Topic
do you have to have it in a topic, or can you make a glossary (with the accordion tab option)? also, there are a good amount of topics in this forum about glossaries and putting links at the top of a topic. for example:

How do I create a heading within a single Topic?
I have no idea where to post this so Mods please move to the correct section.
I have "Dictionaries" in my build. Each dictionary is pasted within it's own topic.

Re: Best way to insert screenshots in Flare
Nope, sorry. Although if you have the original RH project you should be able to copy the image files from there into the appropriate folder in Flare. Or better yet, did you try importing the RH project into Flare? I haven't done that myself, being that this place didn't use it and I haven't used RH ...

Thanks LTinker68,
We use SnagIt. I was hoping there was an easier way then recapturing every screen shot and saving them as image files. Thanks.
