Re: .Net Framework error when binding Flare files with SVN
The "binding issue" got resolved when we uninstalled the SQL installation associated with MadCap Flare, and rebooted the computer. On reboot, Flare prompted us to install SQL, to which we said "OK". After SQL was reinstalled, we were able to bind Madcap Flare files to SVN successfully.

Re: .Net Framework error when binding Flare files with SVN
Thank you for the workarounds, but unfortunately it did not fix the issue.
We were able to checkout a sample directory, copy the Madcap project to this test directory, and svn commit.

.Net Framework error when binding Flare files with SVN
Hi,
When I try to bind my Madcap Flare files to SVN (using Tortoise client), I receive a .NET Framework-related error.
See attached screenshots of the .NET Framework-related error, the Tortoise SVN version and the Madcap Flare version that I use.
I have Tortoise SVN 1.7.7.22907 (64-bit) and .NET ...

I just want a straight line!
Is there an easy way to just make a straight line? The only tool I see that can do that is the polyline mode tool. But I cannot get it to just give me a short straight line to save my life! It shouldn't be this difficult. It keeps jumping and giving me a bent line.

Keeping callouts while replacing the underlying image
I frequently have to replace screen shots that have callouts. Typically the image only changes slightly but the callouts remain the same. How can I replace the underlying screen shot without having to redo the callouts? Can they be on two different layers so that it's easy to swap out the old image ...

Re: table heading styles
It turns out this issue was about the different "mediums" in the .css. There are several and I was not selecting the one that was being used before updating the actual style.

Need some .css examples
I am brand new to Mad Cap and I have a huge amount of word documents to import into MadCap. I've imported one document as a pilot project and it seems to use the MS Word styles as a means to generate a style sheet in MadCap. I inherited these MS Word docs, so one they are not clean with regards to ...

Re: Turning off Captialization in styles
I'm just going to stop using this template as it causes too many (other) frustrations. All the obvious changes to the settings that I've tried don't work.

Re: table heading styles
Yes I changed the colors etc. I think there is something odd with the mad cap .css. I'm having other issues with the H1 where even though I change the setting to not capitalize, it continues to do so.

Turning off Captialization in styles
I have a product name that starts with a lower case letter, for example, eMail, for which I created a variable. Each time I use this variable in a H1 style it capitalizes the 'e', so I get EMail instead of eMail. I've looked at the style properties under the Advanced tab and set the Transform to ...

table heading styles
I am using the MadCap .css and creating my own styles based on those styles. I cannot get the table heading to display text correctly. The text seems to be invisible... when I highlight I can see it. I've tried changing the background and the font color for the th style as well as the table style ...
