We can't use SSO. We have internal users and external (customer) users, so that's out. also, madcap didn't say you can only have a single sso tenant, so not sure if that's true.

How do people use SSO for published output?? I mean, don't most of us have a great number of users of the doc, and not on the same networks etc?
For public user docs, many companies still think the doc is IP and do not want it public, valid or not ...

I have a staging server I want to use for internal teams to review and provide feedback on html output.
Saw a way to do this on slack a while back but now I finally have the server I can't find it.

Flare used to do this but no more (if I'm wrong, please advise!)

I've read all the suggestions - and had already tried them - but cannot resize columns by dragging or by changing to a % in the column tag.

update - well, same issue when installing newer version, but 'run as administrator' worked

I'm not running Flare on a Mac using a Windows VM, I'm on Windows.
Setting a default program in Windows Explorer doesn't make any difference either.
It's odd that the same menu option works for multimedia files, but not for images.

Just tried this and it's a bug.
If you right-click on a multimedia item and choose Open Linked File With , Flare gives you an arrow and a choice of available external tools.

I'm pretty sure my stylesheet got overwritten and broken. From now on, think I will back up the stylesheet before doing word imports, then put it back. It is NOT supposed to work like this, and ...

I 'pointed' an import to the main stylesheet for the project, but that stylesheet shows as updated today (did not make any changes) and pretty sure the import overwrite the stylesheet.

Hi - I see you got this up and running, I've used flare on mac a lot and much prefer it!

Trying to set it up now but since you offered - I'm wondering if I have to install the office apps on the vm, or if flare can use the mac office apps? since they are mac, not sure, but everything is transparent ...

as I mentioned, I did find this flare setting - wish they did not turn things on by default in new releases!

however, not entirely sure this is true as I checked the other targets and they were fine - but will def check again, so thanks!

doh! asking the question sometimes makes the answer appear elsewhere.

it's in the target settings > pdf options. Not sure how that got turned on, but in case this helps others

Recently, when I opened a pdf output from Flare, I got an extra button in the nav bar, which shows this info and also adds a bar at the top saying it's uneditable, asking whether to enable editing.
