Correct terminology does help find things in the manuals but unhelpful replies from MadCap staff with no follow-up don't.
I'm also a newbie. I find the trajectory is easier to manipulate if it has been recorded (although rarely automatically correct) there appear to be 3 parts the trajectory itself ...

You can turn off the grey progress bar (and the Madcap Logo) by editing the skin Movie properties, edit skin, toolbar Top, Enable custom and then pick the items you want included.
