Re: Language links in a multi-lingual HTML5 project
Hi again, I tried the following script for the onClick.Event for the English and Swedish toolbar buttons respectively, but it does not seem to work when I tested it on our web server: function URL() {location.href = 'http://servername.com/Uni/EN/';} function URL() {location.href = 'http://servername...

Re: Language links in a multi-lingual HTML5 project
Thank you so much LTinker68 and Dave Lee for your replies. It is highly appreciated. I've added a custom button on the toolbar now, and when I click it the Swedish introduction topic opens. However, I would like the button click to "remember" which language I've selected. So when I click a...

Re: Downloadable content.
As an alternative you could create a topic to your project and call it, for example, “Downloading training materialâ€.
Add the topic to your TOC.
Then it should not be necessary to add any code development to work.

Hi hferguson, in my project, there was a gap between the image and the header in the dropdown text. See the answer to my question, it reminds a bit of yours:

Re: HTML (webhelp)/HTML5 output differences for drop-downs
I was able to resolve this issue by setting padding-left: 0px; on the MadCap|dropDownHotspot.
It looks much better now.

Re: HTML (webhelp)/HTML5 output differences for drop-downs
Thanks Msquared for your reply. Unfortunately this did not work, I've tried to reduce the space for margin-right as well as padding-left for dropDown, dropDownHead, dropDownHotspot but with no result. The images are 9 x 9 px with no space around them. So the dropdown text still looks terrible :( :?

Re: HTML (webhelp)/HTML5 output differences for drop-downs
Hi, I've changed image for dropdown text, and now there is a big gap between the image and the dropdown header. What do I need to change in the CSS style sheet to align with the dropdown body?

I use Adobe Acrobat Professional, and when previewing a topic I can save it in pdf format as shown in the image below. This has worked fine since Flare 7.

Hi, did you try to resize the navigation pane in the skin file? Go to Setup > Pane Size as shown in the image below.

Language links in a multi-lingual HTML5 project
Hi all,
I would like to create language links in the output file of a multi-lingual HTML5 project. Is it possible, and does it require JavaScript?

Hi, when EPiServer 7 web platform was launched in October 2012, we published all online help files in HTML 5.
Here is one example for EPiServer 7 CMS: http://webhelp.episerver.com/CMS/7.0/EN/Default.htm

Possible to use several output targets?
If I use the HTML 5 web help target and also want to use Mobile target, how do I publish these on the web server so that the correct output format applies? In other words, if users browse the web help on their mobile phones, I want the Mobile target to apply, or else the "regular" HTML 5 t...

No, these fonts are not True Type. Does it mean that they cannot be used, not even for printed output?

Cannot use new-installed Fonts in stylesheet
Hi, I'm trying to use Helvetica Neue and Gill Sans in Flare. I've changed the style sheet, but still Flare doesn't seem to pick up the Fonts when I generate the output. I'm using a PC and the fonts are located at the hard drive \Windows\Fonts\. Could anybody tell me from which location Flare pick up...

Re: Strategies for multiple authors with no source control
Flare is not so clever. It wants to add and check out imported files because it adds a local copy of the imported files in your workspace. You will only need to check in the project file together with the Content and Project folders to TFS. Make sure that you have not checked your "global files...

Re: Strategies for multiple authors with no source control
Hi NetDisplaySystems, you can have a so called workspace on your computer that reflects the structure in TFS. Use relative links in the Flare import file as follows: 2011-11-30 12-40-47.png Important! To use project linking, the structure of your documentation also have to map the structure of your ...
