Re: Rotate?
Agreed, Wil. That's the exact process I tried, with no results. So I guess it's on to an Enhancement Request for both of us.

Re: Difficulting drawing arrows
Have you heard anything back on this? I've found that by dragging the larger circle in the middle of the polyline to the left or right side of the polyline that this straightens the line, but I'd prefer not to have to do this every time. Thanks!

Re: Can't find basic editing tools
Adrian - Did you end up submitting an enhancement request? I'm at version 5.0.0 and it appears these simple editing capabilities are still missing.

Equation Editor Headaches
I was initially excited to hear about the Equation Editor, since I have been creating and saving my equations in a PowerPoint document, and doing screen shots of them to get images for my documents.

Thanks! That makes a little more sense.

Can you give me some examples of what you name your conditions for features?

Problems linking Flare to SharePoint
We recently purchased Flare, and wanted to take advantage of Source Control. Unfortunately our company's TFS implementation is not finished yet, so our only option right now is to use SharePoint to at least store checkout history and so forth.

We are in the same boat. A team of 4 writers with A LOT of stuff to migrate from Author-it into Flare.
All our templates, style sheets, etc. are finished, and we have practiced many times importing a few documents; we've imported both Word and .chm versions. Either way, we still end up doing a lot ...

Ineffable - I was caught off guard for a LONG time about that pesky H1 behavior as well.
Even though the topic description/heading always appears initially as the H1 style, during the build this can change depending on where the topic appears in your TOC. If the topic is truly a chapter and not ...

Storing Templates and Linking to Global Project
I feel like I'm missing some key aspect of the basics of Flare here. I took over as admin of the Flare system we are migrating to, and I'm trying to figure out why/how my former associate set up some of the files.

I am just starting to implement Flare on Version 7.1 and have noticed this still appears to be an issue (that variable in xrefs don't show up in the output). Did anyone ever submit this as a bug?

Re: Creating Condition Tags for Versions
Does this mean you have a lot of tags then? For example, in the release notes I am currently documenting, there are 42 new features. That would equate to 42 condition tags vs. just 1 condition tag for a new version.

Creating Condition Tags for Versions
We are implementing Flare, and some of the condition tags we are creating represent different releases of our software (because we can't just be sensible and maintain a single code line).

Re: Flare's Internal Help File as WebHelp
Thanks everyone! This is exactly what I've been looking for, 'cause I just can't stand how the help is broken up in "bits and pieces" in the applications. I wanted the complete WebHelp picture that included the Index, TOC, and Search features all together.

Why is a single topic centered?
We have a web output that has been fine. I recently added 4 new topics, all based off of a task template. Three of the 4 topics generate just fine, but the fourth is centered/has some obvious spacing issues, as it is hugely indented.

How fast should I see my imported style changes?
We just made some updates to our global style sheet. Some related questions:
1. How soon should other users see the changes once they reimport the style sheet?
2. Will they have to re-open or refresh their projects to see the imported styles?
3. For cross-reference changes, will previously inserted ...
