Re: Custom Toolbar Item Javascript
Thank you! That worked just fine. Now, I just need to find just the right button to use and get the shading for the press and hover done. Thanks again for the help!

Custom Toolbar Item Javascript
I created a new class for a custom button which I added to my WebHelp toolbar. However, I am having a problem with the javascript command needed to call the topic I want when the button is clicked. If I want the topic to just open in the browser window, would somebody help me with what the command ...

Re: WebHelp: Where should I store a Flash Movie?
I have stored ours in the Images folder which I believe is where the system also puts them by default if you insert a movie that doesn't reside in your project from Insert > Picture.

Re: Topics not opening
Internet Explorer. I dug further and found that the WebHelp output checked into Source Control was missing files. As you may have guessed now, the files missing were indeed the ones that wouldn't open in Help. Don't know how they were missing or why. Appears to be OK now. Team Foundation hiccup I ...

Topics not opening
I have a couple topics (that I know of anyway) that will not open after in my WebHelp output. One of them is my startup topic. When the Output comes up, the main pane on the browser is blank. I can click on other topics in the TOC and they come up fine. This particular topic won't open if I click it ...

Re: Posting WebHelp on a website
Thanks! When I started this thread I talked about having the WebHelp accessible from a website similar to what MadCap does. Does all of this still apply if I want the call to Help in my application to be a URL, so when the user accesses Help the application uses the URL and brings up the website ...

Re: Posting WebHelp on a website
In the Flare Help topic titled "Connecting WebHelp - Developers," it says to use the information if you are producing WebHelp and want to incorporate context-sensitive Help into the software. My question is simple. Can the information for connecting the WebHelp to the application still be used if we ...

Icon in TOC
Is there a way I can have an icon from the HMTL Help Icon drop-down display in the TOC for my WebHelp target output? What I am specifically interested in is using the little video icon for TOC entries that are direct links to videos we are using.
Thanks!

Inserting Images into Expanding Text
We sometimes insert images into Expanding Text. Since we installed v4, we do not seem to be able to do this anymore. Does anybody else do this? If so, have you had the same problem?

Re: Flare running very slow after v4 install
When I opened my project for the first time this morning, the Advanced Scan took about 30 mins. I didn't touch the Analyzer folder that Flare auto-created initially. Any ideas why the scan might have taken so long? From everything I've read so far I thought it would be very quick since I did the ...

Re: Flare running very slow after v4 install
After I lowered the setting in Tools > Options from 30 to 10, the initial Advanced Scan that ran the first time I opened my project after that took a little over an hour. I haven't had a problem though once that completed.
Thanks!
