Re: WebHelp Plus or HTML5 Server-based non-XHTML search?
Here you go. You had to add the Adobe PDF filter to the Web Server. However, the PDF extension will not show up unless you place it in the title of the document. That has been my experience. In the screenshot you can see that the .doc does display. Make sure PDFs have the correct title in them. We ...

Re: Flare help...why is it no better than anyone else's?
One would think that a help authoring tool would have spectacular, easy to use and easy to navigate help. Instead, what we see is a help system much like any other--topics that might make sense to some but most of the persons unfamiliar with the product are puzzled, a search tool that does not ...

Does the AutoSearch folder support sub-folders?
I have created a library and have placed several PDFs into the autosearch, other than a naming convention, I was wondering if the AutoSearch function worked with subfolders so the documents could be organised a little better, rather than just one big dump?
Thank you.

Not sure I understand everything in your question/comments. However, for the thumbnail function, have you checked the img CSS style? you can turn thumbnail (default) on and off there.

Re: Flare CSS design strategies?
I have tried to get a repository started here for participants examples and using them to view. To learn, share and teach, but I am not certain as to why this forum does not have one. Seriously, why not a set of skins, CSS, scripts etc. that are stored for people to learn from?

Not certain as to what you are talking about. Are you saying, that you cannot see new topics? You can only see topics that are out of date?

Multiple Glossaries in the same project? Merged Glossaries?
Hello,

Do not worry about criticism.
When we used TFS 2010, and you created a new Topic, or Skin, or Snippit, the modal window when doing so, had a checkmark already in place to bind to source control. Using Subversion, that is not present, not even the choice to do so. Perhaps my phrasing should have ...

Still no auto bind to source control for Subversion when creating new components? Topics, MasterPages, PageLayouts etc.?

Relationship Table Interaction - Open in child window
Hello,
I am using a relationship table within the More Information drop down interaction control. Is there a way for the links, such as Related Tasks, Reference Materials, etc., to open in a child window.
Thank you.

I apologize. I am talking about the main search, not the topic quick search. The icon to activate the Search pane to search the project.

Customizing Skin Minimizing IE on startup
We have a made changes using the skin editor. Adding icons, changing the colors, etc. For some reason with IE 8 and 9, when loading the help pages (either web help, or web help plus), it collapses the page into a small tiny window. It does not happen in FireFox or Chrome. Anyone else experience. The ...

Thanks for the reply Laura. Not that I can see. I am thinking it is the webhelp plus output with server side search, but am uncertain how to remove the project files from that search..perhaps and exclusion list on file extensions?

Removing files/content from Search Results
Hello,
For some reason some of the core files are coming up in the search results. I am using IIS .7.0 and WebHelp Plus with server side search. Is there and easy way to remove/exclude those core project files from the search results? below is an example.
