Re: Broken link after (forgot to) rename
So there is definitely no link in the file you are currently in to the 'imssystprogoptionsprint.htm' file? Linked to: should mean there is a link in the current file that is pointing to a missing file. (But it's late on a Friday, so maybe I'm missing something obvious.

Re: Flare and TFS workspaces
As far as I know, multiple workspaces still causes problems for Flare. At least, when we started using Flare 6 we had to delete the custom workspaces normal for our release software. We don't ever change from the base workspace now. I don't remember seeing anything about it being fixed, but I may ...

Re: Create: p.bullet1, p.bullet2, p.bullet3 (CSS code)
Probably she meant the HTML element tree that you can display on the left of the XML Editor. They may be turned off for you. There should be a button at the bottom of the XML Editor with a tooltip "Toggle show blocks". Then you'd right-click on the p tag for the paragraph you want to apply your p ...

It sounds like a pretty good idea. You can submit a feature request from within Flare. Help > Report a Bug, then on the web page that opens, click on Feature Request on the right.

Re: CSH with WebHelp
Just wondering if this change (to match Dave Lee's example) would fix it?
iRet = (int) ShellExecute(NULL, "open", "file:///C:/DevProjects/NL11-NEWHELP/Default_csh.htm#cshid=IDH_AUTO_OBJ_DETECT", NULL, NULL, SW_SHOWNORMAL);

Re: Opening a webpage from link in PDF target
I don't think you can do what you want with an xref. The only places you can Link to is a Topic in Project, or a Place in this Document (in Flare 9).
The commands just control how your Link to selection displays. So picking {url} indicates you want to show the URL for the selected topic.

Re: "New from Existing" copies linked files
You could try just copying the file from one project into the appropriate location in the other, using Windows Explorer. This copies only the file, leaving any images or linked files behind, as it's not using Flare's smarts.

I don't have any advice regarding the numbering you want, just some general advice on workflow (which you may be doing already, but it doesn't hurt to state explicitly).

Re: drop down CSS classes
What about creating a class for the MadCap|DropDownBody? If you show the tag bar on the left, you can right-click on the tag and apply different classes to the body content as required. Admittedly you have to apply 2 different classes, rather than having it happen automatically, but this might be a ...

I'm not an equation editor expert (actually I just installed it in the last couple of weeks to have a look), but I'm not sure why the tables are needed?

Re: Include Sandcastle Files in Output?
While it's theoretically possible to link to a CHM from a webpage, there are so many security restrictions on CHM files these days that they're pretty much unusable on the web or even internal servers.
Here's a page with some discussion on the problems:

<rhetorical answer> I recommend google rather than the built in forum search. Half the time all my words are too common and the forums refuse to search for them.

Hmm, just had a look at this, and it is a bit weird.

Option 1 to press Enter inserted a paragraph in a random place in the topic.
Option 2 worked.
Thanks!

Have you tried modifying the Skin? I haven't tried it myself, so it's possible Webhelp Mobile does it somewhere else.

In Flare click the Help menu, then Report a Bug. (I'm using the Ribbon, but I assume the Menu layout would be similar in this case.)

Re: Hyperlinks between html help projects
There should be a HTML Help File entry, which is what you want to use to link to chms. It lets you select the chm and easily navigate to the topic you need within the chm. However it also requires you to copy the chm you are linking to into the project.

Re: Headers with text aligned to left and right
If you don't have unique left and right pages, then I don't think you should have them in the page layout. Instead just define a Normal page and delete the left and right definitions - you might like to do this in a copy of your project, to make sure you don't accidentally lose something important ...

Re: How can I change search text size in Webhelp skin?
It doesn't look to be possible - logically I think it belongs with SearchBox in the skin styles. Also applies to the IndexSearchBox, possibly to SearchUnfilteredLabel, but doesn't seem to be a limitation for QuickSearch on the topic toolbar.

Re: Importing Master Project Files into Version 7 Project
I'll assume you haven't created the import file in your other projects yet. This is the quick version. There is a fair bit of automation and customisation you can do (condition codes, file types to include/exclude, etc). Hopefully with this start the topics in the Flare help will make more sense ...
