No, the indents are not ok. They should be 0.5" from the margin but currently they do not get indented at all.
I select Use Destination under Paste Special since I want the styles to be as per that document (heading numberings that are not possible through Flare).

Wrong font in word when p tag is inside blockquote
Hi,
My Word output is giving the incorrect font at times. The pattern I have noticed is that this seems to be happening when there is a <p> tag inside a <blockquote>.
This is how the incorrect Word output looks.

Yes, that's exactly my problem and your macro works great.
Unfortunately, my heading levels h6.heading7 and h6.heading8 don't work with the macro. And most of the headings from the Flare output should fall into those levels when inserted into the big Word document. :(

Re: Word output opening in Protected view..help!
Thanks SteveS. Will try that.
Also, found another thread in this forum on a similar subject. That says to save the output file with a name and extension (.docx) instead of Default. Will try that out too.
Thanks again.

Word output opening in Protected view..help!
Hello,
When I generate the Word output and try to open it, it opens in Protected view.
I need to copy some part of this output and paste in another document; Copy and paste does not work - probably because it is in protected view.

Thanks Nita.
Actually, it is not the h7 and h8 styles alone..none of the headings show in the Navigation pane. But your answer tells me that is normal in anything before Flare 12 (I use Flare 10).
So how do I map the headings between Flare and Word?

Re: Newly added heading styles not showing
Thank you so much devjoe...that worked!
I was able to create the h7 and h8 styles in Flare and apply them wherever relevant.
One issue now is that somehow the headings are not appearing at all in the Navigation pane in Word. Not sure why...any tips?

TeSol

Thanks.
To answer your questions -
I'm using Apache Subversion 1.8.15 64 bit.
The repository is on the server.
Project is bound using Flare.
Highly unlikely that someone has moved things around. Even if there is a slight chance, my error should have been one-off...but it happens erratically ...

Re: Has MadCap moved to 64-bit apps now?
What about some of us who are using 64 bit machines (Windows 8.1) but 32 bit Flare (10.2)? It can cause an issue right? Problem is I dont think my organisation is thinking of spending on upgrade to Flare 12 currently-so what should I do?

Re: Error connecting to source control repository
All the replies relate to Flare 11 and Flare 12. I am using Flare 10.2 - is that an issue? Also, I see that Madcap Flare is 32-bit whereas I am running on Windows 8.1 64 bit. Could that be an issue?

Much appreciated.

I use Subversion.
No, nothing other than Flare. I'm the lone technical writer in my organisation hence only I have this problem.
Any idea where to look for the logs?
Thanks

Copy and paste tables from Word to Flare
Hi,
Can someone tell me how to copy and paste tables from Word to Flare? Regular text gets copied. But where tables are concerned only the text in the tables gets copied; not the tables themselves. It is then painful to create a table freshly and put the text in the desired columns. :(
Any help ...
