Hi all,
I was able to solve my problem. Given below is the solution -
Note: Please make sure you are in the Print medium of the stylesheet.
In the h1 style in your stylesheet, you will need to add "CH:" to the auto-number code. The code should look like this: " CH:{chapnum} "
In the h2 style in ...

Re: TOC issues in Word
Thanks Leon.
I set the mc-heading-level property to 0 for the headings I did not want in the TOC but they still appear. So perhaps that is not the place to set it. Would be great if you have any more ideas on this.
My topics are all in chapters; no idea why the numbering is not happening.

TOC issues in Word
Hi,
This is the first time I am generating a Word target. I am facing the following problems -
1) In the TOC, I want only h1 to h4. But h5 and h6 are also being displayed.
2) All h1s show the number 1, h2s show 0.1 and h3s show 0.0.1. 'mc-heading-level' in the css is correctly set for these ...

Re: CHM file causing application to crash
Yes , We get the error when trying to run the App from Visual Studio . The error doesn’t appear when trying to open the CHM file independently.
Interestingly, the error occurs only with the CHM file generated via Flare. The CHM file generated with HTML Workshop doesn’t cause any error.

Re: Rename .htm to .html
Thanks everyone. I learnt something new today - did not know about custom file extensions during output generation.
Only thing is, that is an option during generation of Webhelp; and I am looking at CHM file generation. Looks like it will have to be manually done..?
Regards,
TeSol

Rename .htm to .html
Hi,
Will there be any problem if I rename .htm files to .html? My developer has called .html files in the application; changing to .htm will mean changes in several files. It may be easier for me to make the change at Flare's end. One problem I will have is that the TOC will need to be redone. But ...

Skin change not displaying in output
Hi,
I noticed some older posts that said the skin for HTML help output cannot be changed. I am using Flare 7.2 and wonder if it is possible to do so now. I tried and couldn't change the skin (added Flare's factory shipped Blue skin and Green skin) but the output looks the same..no change. So I ...

Re: Breadcrumbs below Heading1
Thank you for your replies. Yes, I too don't like the breadcrumbs below the heading...but that's what the customer wants..
Guess I shall add the breadcrumbs in each topic manually. Unless I can convince the customer to let it remain on top where it is meant to be.
Thanks once again.

I have a main topic with several hyperlinks to different topics in it. After the Webhelp is generated, when I select the main topic in the navigation pane and then mouse over the hyperlinks in the content area, the links move.

Formatting scroll bars
Hi,
Is it possible to change the appearance of the horizontal and vertical scroll bars in the topic pane, navigation pane and popups? I couldnt find it anywhere..
I want the scroll bars to be a little thinner and sleeker looking. How do I go about this? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks DocuWil, Lisa and Dave. I have submitted a feature request for changing the colour of the active topic in the TOC pane.
Any idea if the colour of the active accordion item can be changed?
