Re: Pre tag not working anymore
Hi,
Just discovered that this occurs when whitespaces are inside the text positioned inside the PRE tag.
I stumbled accross this when using long pathnames or XML blocks with a lot of attributes in documentation, spanning multiple text lines.
I have created a bugreport (case 69554) and will post ...

Hi,
For those who are following this:

Hi,
This issue appeares to be a bit more complex.

Re: How to not show H3 from appendix in table of Contents?
Hi,
For those who are having the same issue: I found this as a working solution:
In the used stylesheet, AFTER the defined style used for h1 add the next additional entries:
h1.notTOC
{
mc-heading-level: 0;
}
h3.notTOC
{
mc-heading-level: 0;

I use the next workflow for "converting" other documentation files to Flare and have the next setup:

Re: list of each blurb tagged with a condition
Hi,
Just a wild idea:
Maybe you can use an index option for this, labeling the requirement identifiers as a keyword and using a format to add the pagenumber?
Greetings,
René Severens

Hi,
This will not help generating a solution. But in designing the documentation, why are the requirements inside the user guide? For the very complex product I am writing documentation for, a separate Requirements document is used.

René Severens

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.

But apparently witt this option enabled, the empty page does not show up in the output at all.

Re: Pagelyout: Title page + Empty page shown swicthed?
Hi,
No, I already tried that.
Maybe a better question would be: "What exactly is meant with "Empty page handling?".
A: Is it that when printing the PDF an empty page is inserted, but when viewing online, no empty page is shown?
or:
B: When creating a pagelayout that contains a [T] and an [E] page ...

Hi,
I am working on PDF output, (Flare 10) and would like to do something like this in the Table of Contents:

Or maybe some other graphical option, just to let go the old aged default plain text design. But this seems not possible...

Hi,
I have created a nice solution, using existing functionality in a creative way. For me, this works perfectly.
I now have a PDF that contains active and "non-active" url's, preventing readers to open a non -existing website/page.

Re: How to set transparency color for an object?
Hi Tom,
I must discuss this with my co-workers. If this ends up in using Capture for this, then I can use your steps for creating an image library and also contact MadCap Support and enter a bug report.
Thanks for going through all steps.

Hi,
Thanks for the steps. I used a slightly different approach:

How to set transparency color for an object?
Hi,
Probably I am expecting to much from Capture, or the Transparancy color is not designed for what I am trying to do:
In a Palette I add 2 objects. Next I create a new screen capture to get a background object (a white workspace, so to say), on which I position the 2 objects:
