Dave,
I have ol second as a bullet because we use 1/disc/circle in out hierarchy and I changed it there in case it is used in some topic I've never been in since I found it in one of the other stylesheets (I use default). I haven't seen li.second used anywhere either. I've only been checking the ...

Re: Bullet Style Randomly Changing - Bullet shows as Circle
Lisa,
I only check it in Firefox, and it is inconsistent there. The disc (solid bullet's real name) and the circle seem to switch out randomly even though the code just says UL with no styles or classes applied other than what I've posted that doesn't specify list-style-type, just spacing and the ...

Re: Bullet Style Randomly Changing - Bullet shows as Circle
Doc_guy,
I've pasted all the references that show in the internal editor in my post above for all 3 (default, print, non-print). Everything is set to default though I've copied some styles into all of them just to keep my bases covered if things ever change. We don't have any print documentation ...

Re: Bullet Style Randomly Changing - Bullet shows as Circle
One topic that has bullets showing in Flare, has bullets showing in the XML Editor, but it shows circles in the output or when you preview it. Our docs are so list heavy I click the button rather than typing it out though I could easily code it as I type. A lot of our work is cleaning up this ...

Re: Bullet Style Randomly Changing - Bullet shows as Circle
I'll have to check the styles, but this happens on first level lists (even if they have only one level). I manually change the second level to a circle.
Thanks,
Robin

Bullet Style Randomly Changing - Bullet shows as Circle
Has anyone experienced bullet styles randomly changing? We're clicking Bullet List and it is making the list a Circle List. I've even had cases where I go into the code and tell it to make it a disc and it just doesn't care. This is happening in both 7.2 and 8. This is happening so randomly we can't ...

Re: Images appear for me, but gone elsewhere
I store all of my images in Resources > Images and although any from previous writers and possibly previous software (A RH project was imported months ago) are in various other folders. I found out they are using another name for the CHM file though and had to figure out how to change the file name ...

Images appear for me, but gone elsewhere
We published a CHM yesterday only for the images to show up in Flare and on my desktop only to be missing when attached to the software it accompanies. Any ideas?

Dani333,
Does everyone have access to view/read the file if you go right-click the CHM file and go to Properties > Security or is it limited to certain accounts/computers?

Re: CHM Images Too Large For Window
Yes, as I stated, the 615px wide is inline style. I didn't think that would be too big for the CHM when I started doing it. I've been moving everything else to the external (styles.css) as there is embedded, inline, and external styles from the project being imported from RoboHelp8 and writers and ...

Re: CHM Images Too Large For Window
The only one I've been using is the styles.css which is default and I am going based off what the last writer had, but even topics I haven't touched have graphics that are too large as well. There is nothing for the img tag in the others. Is it as simple as setting something for the img tag in the ...

CHM Images Too Large For Window
I have a Flare 7.2 project with a Master Stylesheet for the project. When I create my WebHelp the image size is fine (I have them set to Max width 615px using inline styles and nothing else changed), but when I create the CHM, the files are too large. The user would have to scroll around to see the ...

Re: Flare 7.2, Flare 8, and TFS compatibility issues
More reliable. We're having constant issues with checking in/out files and changes not being there in TFS or being there on one person's computer but not the other person's with get latest saying we already have the latest version when we don't, etc. Sometimes the text changes are there, but the ...

Re: Flare 7.2, Flare 8, and TFS compatibility issues
We've e-mailed back and forth a couple of times when I've submitted bugs, but the company didn't pay for support. Also, they want us to zip up and send our project to them, which we aren't willing to do since our documentation is on a password protected site. I thought TFS would be better than SVN ...

Re: Flare 7.2 Icons Explained?
I talked to the guy who runs TFS here and TFS shows it to be checked out, but Flare doesn't. I wish I had access to see who has what checked out and who changed what file last.

Re: Flare 7.2 Icons Explained?
That's what I thought, but neither of us has it checked out and on one else has access. I did search for icons source control but apparently that wasn't close enough to your search, Dave.

Re: Flare 7.2 Icons Explained?
I wasn't talking about it putting icons in there. I meant the icons it uses to indicate the status of a file...like the lock, the checkmark, the plus sign.

Flare 7.2 Icons Explained?
Is there anything that explains the icons that Flare 7.2 uses? I was scrolling through my Resources > Images folder and saw one on an image I hadn't seen before. I've seen the lock, the checkmark, and the plus sign, but not this one.
Thanks,
Robin

Flare 7.2, Flare 8, and TFS compatibility issues
I am using Flare 7.2 while my boss is finding a way to update my version since you can't just do it onlnie, my new colleague has Flare 8, and we are using TFS for version control.
Ever since we went from the trial of 7.2 to the full version of 8 we have been having issues between Flare & TFS. We ...
