So I am not sure if the lack of response means that no-one has a solution/suggestion or no-one has a problem with their pdf file sizes

Did you find a solution apart from changing all your images?
My pdfs in Flare seem to be much bigger than pdfs from Word, and also the helps (HTML5) are huge too (some 100+mB).

We have this problem, just out of interest, where does the "facing page" text come from? it doesn't exist in the project (according to our search)

I have a cover page and then a TOC topic.
The TOC topic has an h1 heading and the the madcap TOC proxy.
In pdf, TOC starts on the next page, not after the h1 heading, which remains on it's own.
I have set page-break-before the h1 heading to "always".

We are having issues where the graphic elements (blue strips) show up in Flare and in the Flare preview, but in the PDF output they do not appear.
The blue strips come from the page layout.
I have checked the page layout, and that it is correctly selected....

I think the transparency was an issue. It seems to be better without transparency, but so far that means I have to save my pictures first with non-transparent whitespace where I want to have callouts - and I haven't discovered yet how to do that in Capture...

When I put a text box in capture. The font looks fine.
When I insert the image into Flare, the text is bold and/or fuzzy?
Tried changing font size/ checking if bold is on.... no help..
Please provide a solution!

That's what I thought, but the header row appears empty - I still have to enter the heading titles manually each time.

I set up a new table style (eg Supplies) - it has 3 columns defined and a header row.
I gave names to my columns (eg PN, Description, Quantity) in the style settings.
How do I make these names appear as the actual column headings in the table (automatically, when I select this table style)?
