I've never done it, but looking at the Help I'd say you can call a different skin, or even a unique skin for each CSH ID:

If a skin has been assigned to the ID in Flare ... and you enter a skin name in this command ...

You can do both from the same output. Actually, the developer can do both if you provide a CSH file with your project. This is covered in Help > Features > Context-Sensitive Help > About Context-Sensitive Help.

I played around with another option of making the background a GIF using Paint. It didn't force the size like I though it would. I think the table option i-tietz mentioned is a good way to go. That gives you a lot of control over how the layout is configured.

I probably should mention that I was referring to the master, or default stylesheet, not the table stylesheet.

I would check with the developer(s) of your product. I'd bet they have a hot key in the code somewhere and they may not even realize it.

As I see it, you have two options:

1) Open the CSS in Flare, add the td Style , and set the properties accordingly.
2) Open the CSS in NotePad (in version 8 you can right-click the file in the Content Explorer and go to Open with > NotePad ), find the following code:

The first thing that I'd check is the Page Break settings for your TableStyle. (Using Version 8) Open the TableStyle.css and go to General > Advanced. What is the Page Break for Inside setting?

Have you tried adding the properties of your paragraph style (p) to the table cell style (td)?

Is it possible to use a PageLayout for your long (multi-page) tables and have them on a separate page? If so, you could add the header to the PageLayout. However, if your tables are in-line with your text, this isn't going to work. You need a page break before any long table requiring multiple pages.

I wonder if you might be better off adding the QR code in the topic itself and saving it as a template for your cover pages?

Also, check the PageLayout (.flpgl) to see if you have a second page there. I'm not sure if the Auto-end on Left over-writes this or not.

Use the Title Page page type in your .flpgl. In Version 8 there are Page Types in the right frame (not sure about older versions). The T page type has no header/footer.

The old-school way is to put the list into a two-column/one-row table with no (or white) borders.

btw, in Version 8, there is a whole section on columns in the Help.

Without knowing how you set up h1, it's difficult to say why the background doesn't show for the number. I added a background-color to h1 and set the mc-auto-number-format to {n+}. The webhelp output had the background color for both.
