Users on my team have been experiencing false lockups, where it turns out a Flare dialog has opened behind the main Flare screen.
Doing an Alt+Tab brings the dialog to the forefront, where you can click OK (or do whatever it takes to dispatch the dialog).

mc-caption-repeat and mc-caption-continuation
I cannot get "Table Caption (continued)" labels to work in my PDF target. We are used to this feature in FrameMaker and no one wants to give it up.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, this is what we want:
Table 1: Example Table Caption
page break

Re: Single or All Source Control only
One of my co-workers experienced this behavior, after upgrading, but I did not. We have not resolved the issue.
His workaround is to select a group of files (from Pending Check-Ins) before he chooses a check in option.

Integrated SVN Client: Rename and Delete Problems
I've seen other posts in this forum to suggest this behavior is not unique:
When I rename or delete a file, the working copy (local) updates properly. The files show as Pending Delete in my Pending Check-ins window.
After I check in, the changes are not synced to my SVN repository. The pending ...

Thanks, Dave! I think it will be quicker to nuke them now. I appreciate your help.

Re: Frame Import Problems: Table Footnotes and TOCs
Five minutes after posting my last message, we discovered that table footnotes were making it through just fine.

Frame Variables: Save or Discard and Replace After Import
My company uses a crapload of variables. Like 38 pages of them. We selectively remove them from our Frame source before importing because of these problems:
*Variables in callouts do not get included in the images that Flare renders.
*Variables in headings create problems with topic naming. Topics ...

Re: Frame Import Problems: Table Footnotes and TOCs
Just in case any ever has a similar problem importing a Frame TOC, support solved our issue. Turns out one of our TOC tags was not set to 0.0 (first and left) even though it looked like it was.
We haven't conquered the Footnote issue yet, but we're working on it.

Frame Import Problems: Table Footnotes and TOCs
Hi all,
We are experiencing problems with table footnotes and TOC hierarchies during the FrameMaker import process.
Table footnotes are pulled into the table. Is this just a CSS fix after the import?
TOCs are not reflected accurately. I have adjusted the Frame TOC indentations for each level, so ...

Re: FrameMaker Text Frame Callouts Fail to Import
I fixed the issue by changing the font in the offending Paragraph tag.
In this case, apparently the conversion process was choking on the Microsoft Sans Serif font. I changed it to Verdana and the callouts started appearing in the converted graphics.

Re: FrameMaker Text Frame Callouts Fail to Import
Thanks, Greg!
I followed the recommendations in the Transition from FrameMaker Guide, but they don't include any details on how to handle fonts in Distiller. I will fool around in the settings before I attempt to re-install the Acrobat portion of ATCS.

FrameMaker Text Frame Callouts Fail to Import
Howdy all,
I am trying to import a FrameMaker book into Flare. Images in anchored frames make it through, but callouts contained in text frames inside the anchored frame do not.
This appears to be a known issue, but support has not yet offered a workaround.
Has anyone here overcome this issue ...
