Importing a Google doc user manual into a PDF template
Hi all! I have a large Google doc that has been the User Manual for one of our products. I feel that it is time to pull it into Flare, but I'm not sure which is the most efficient way of doing this. I tried downloading it as a Word doc and then importing it using both H1 & H2 as topic separators but ...

Re: Problem with Mimic 8.1 in Windows 10
I have yet to use Mimic successfully when recording a full screen. I was told for my first trouble-tix to try all of this:
Questions:
1) Regarding the size of the capture region, are you capturing the entire screen in your Movie or just a portion of it? I assume that you're using the End key to ...

Re: OS agnostic Flare document collaboration?
Thanks for your reply @doloremipsum!
My company is not going to buy into that when they have been using Google docs, and it is a lot less $$.
I did try to use Microsoft's OneDrive as a way to share my files but it immediately showed itself as not a good collaboration tool. My SME's had to log on ...

Re: OS agnostic Flare document collaboration?
I am also using Google docs for collaboration. The last post was in 2016 so I'm wondering if this is still a thing for everyone?
My current workflow is to download the edited document from Google doc to Word and now I'm going to have to edit closely there before I finally upload it to Flare ...

Re: New Word Import in 2019 r2 - first impressions
Just wanted to add to the conversation on Word Imports (v. 2019r2)!
The drag & drop import didn't work the first time around. I received this error after selecting about 14 files:
Microsoft Word is not installed. To import/export Word documents without Microsoft Word installed, open the Options ...

Re: HELP- Need Basic Instruction in GitHub
Stephanie,
So no one has replied to you on this? That is very concerning!?
We were kicking using Git for our documentation even though I am the only tech writer so far. But seeings how you got no help here in the community, I will be re-thinking this move!
Thank you for posting this revealing ...

How to resize an image to fit in the browser window?
Hi.
I did a search on the very subject line here on the forum and couldn't find anything, so apologies if this topic has been covered.
I have a screenshot of the home screen from where everything happens in our software. I'm hoping to make this interactive but before I even get to that, I want to ...

Kali,
This is a little off your original post but I'm interested in knowing how you created this:
../Default.htm#(filepath)
in the first place.
What is your Target Output and settings, please? My developers what to use that, actually:
../Default.htm#(topic which is the filename.htm)
To link to ...

Re: Cannot see all styles - I want a full Paragraph Catalog!
I just started using Flare. I'm a RoboHelp longtimer. I've imported my project no problem. My .css/styles seemed to be present at first. And then I started having this same issue.
No matter what or where I am, I don't have the styles available to me, and there was no pattern as to which styles were ...
