Nevermind. I figured it out. Had to add the favicon info to the opening page (on my site, called "intro.htm"). I also moved all favicons (png, icos) to the Content folder, which seems to be the default folder now.

I think I figured it out. There is no difference. It just sets whatever audience you choose as the default variable in the target.

What is the difference between the "Audience A" and "Audience B" targets in the new advanced top-nav format? The descriptions are exactly the same.

It's not actually a permissions issue. Mimic is not working correctly because of the size of the file. When I brought the frame count down to 200 frames or so, it worked just fine.

He's running XP, so likely to be 32 bit, but he has only 3GB RAM anyway.

I'm running Win7 Pro, 64-bit. My maximum frame number seems to be around 200. After that, I get errors like, "Can't write to folder" (even though Mimic just created the folder itself), or the errors above.

I'm pretty sure these two messages are the same issue. I'm getting this with a 400 frame movie. I think the only option is to reduce the size of your movie. I have a feeling that Mimic runs out of memory very easily and doesn't deal with it well. Sorry! I hope somebody has a better answer!

I'm having the same issue with only 400 frames. I assume it's because Mimic is only 32-bit, so can only address so much memory..? I have 16GB RAM, 8 cores of new Xeons, and an SSD. Also, recording, I could only record 24 frames at a time, then save, then restart Mimic, then record another 24 frames ...

I would love to see an option somewhere for the site builder to set the ToC to be expanded by default, with a ++ and -- icon on the page itself so the user can expand all / contract all if they want to.

I've never gotten HTML5 (of either Google video or H264) to work. Whenever I try to build the video, I get an error something ike, "Missing file 'pthreadGC2.dll'. Please reinstall and try again."

One of our developers was able to fix this by changing one word in the .js file, in the output folder:

../html5/Resources/Scripts/MadCapAll.js

Search for ForceUseJS= and change false to true

That's it. If this was changed by default, there would be no problems using HTML5 output for any ...
