I'm not sure if this will help, but it seems to fix many of the .NET related problems. Either reinstall .NET or run a repair of .NET.
I've actually had pretty good results from telling .NET to repair the installation through Control Panel, so I would personally recommend that approach first (also ...

Re: Making stuff find-able - 1
I recently had a similar question about raising the visibility of specific task topics and settled for creating a table of common tasks on the intro page for the first section and included links to the most important task topics. I can't help thinking that giving more ways to find something is ...

Re: Did v9 break connection w/ Perforce?
I really don't have anything to offer, I'm sorry to say. From bits and pieces in another discussion (http://forums.madcapsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?f=68&t=16660) it sounds as though Madcap changed the way they integrate with source control. If that applies also to the way they connect through the ...

Re: Unhandled Exception Error - Error creating window handle
I would suggest trying to repair or reinstall the .NET framework. This seems to be a frequently recommended fix for odd issues in Flare, so I think it would be worth a try.

Re: Adventures in Visual Studio Online
Since posting this thread I have been joined by two more writers. We're still using TFS through Visual Studio Online with mostly good results. We did have the "A newer version exists on the server" scenario the other day. I thought originally that one of my colleagues had made a change to three ...

Another possibility, perhaps, is to add Prettify to your project as described in http://www.madcapsoftware.com/blog/2012/08/14/syntax-highlighting-using-prettify-a-syntax-highlighter-by-google/#.

Re: Adventures in Visual Studio Online
It looks like the only thing we are missing in order to use VS Online is the ability to pass credentials along when we bind to the service. I really do feel this could be a huge benefit to solo writers and small documentation teams. It already is a benefit even with the need to use the stand-alone ...

I apologize if this post seems haphazard. I just spent several hours working through many configuration options looking for a smooth solution and thought I would share what I have settled on as a working solution.
