Hmm. I haven't seen that behavior.

- What version of Flare are you using?
- What steps do you perform that result in that outcome? (so we can try to replicate it)

Re: Source Control Issues after Updating to 2018 r2?
MadCap support suggested removing my local workspace mapping (in Visual Studio), deleting the projects from my local drive, then re-importing all the projects from source control again.
I haven't tried this, so can't confirm it would work.
I've done this before in previous Flare versions that had ...

Re: Facing pages and cross references
I have the same issue, with the cross reference on an odd page (p.11) pointing to "the facing page", when the "target" is actually on the next, even page (p.12). Am I correct that this appears to be a problem with Flare's cross reference function?
Thanks,

Re: Source Control Issues after Updating to 2018 r2?
Thanks Dave. I fixed the link issue, though I admit it didn't occur to me to delete the Analyzer folder to do so.
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with TFS, too, but I'm glad it's not just me.

Source Control Issues after Updating to 2018 r2?
I'm using Flare 2018 and my project is bound to Team Foundation Server (TFS). After a rocky start back in April, the source control features have been working nicely since. After updating to Flare 2018 r2, however, I started encountering odd behavior related to source control.

Re: Flare Auto-Generating a Search1.htm file?
Quick follow-up: I moved the default Search.htm to the Backups folder and then created my own. Basically just a new topic, no heading, and a Search Results proxy. Flare does appear to be using it without creating an alternative Search1.htm, so thanks. But I'm still perplexed as to the cause of the ...

FOD flagged the jQuery vulnerability for the HTML5 help I'm developing for my client. We're saving page-level context-sensitive help (CSH) for a post-release update but, as indicated above, we'll probably get flagged for that too.

Re: Flare Auto-Generating a Search1.htm file?
Sorry to necro this older thread, but I'm encountering a similar issue --- Flare 2018 is generating a Search1.htm file --- but I do not have the Exclude content not linked directly or indirectly from target option checked in my targets. I tried Casey's invisible xref idea anyway but I still end up ...

Migrating from HTMLHelp (CHM) to HTML5/Top-Nav CSH

Re: Creating One Glossary with Two Definitions

Top Nav Search Results - First Result Formatted Wrong

Re: Importing table borders into Flare from Word documents
Yes, that would work nicely if we wanted all tables to have borders. But we want some to have borders and some to not have borders, so it would be nice if the border setting from Word imported with the table.

Re: Images imported from Word are cropped
Well, I don't have a more refined work-around. This seems to be the one I'm going to have to settle on. One thing I did discover, though, is that the default value for the border of 0.75 pt seems to do the trick. So, no need to increase it to 2 pts.

This was almost a show-stopper for me when I was deciding whether to move to Flare, but I found a solution that works really well for me, which I posted in another thread.
Maybe someone here might find it helpful too.

Re: Images imported from Word are cropped
I think I've discovered a workaround. I've only tested it on one topic but that topic has three charts in it and all three imported properly after applying the workaround.
