Re: Clicking tab floats page
Turning off the mouse setting "Enable smart move" definitely fixed the problem. I haven't floated a tab since.

Align text and image vertically in the middle
So, I have a formatting problem that I can't figure out.
I have headings that I want to mark with an icon image that indicates what version of our software the subject of the paragraph applies to. What I want to do is to make the image and the text align vertically in the middle instead of the ...

Re: Clicking tab floats page
I have not solved this, but it seems to come and go. For a couple of weeks there was no problem. Now it's back. I use a wireless USB mouse, so there aren't any mechanical parts to fail, and this kind of thing only happens in Flare. I have tried clicking the tab very carefully without moving the ...

Thanks. That should help. I didn't get how to use the filter option. It didn't make sense to me. I appreciate the answer.

Searching the help - help me!
I get so frustrated trying to find something in the help. Am I crazy, or does it just search for one word at a time? I always try to find what I'm looking for in the help, and I'm always stymied.
Say I want to find out about how to indent a table. I search for "indent table." I get a zillion hits ...

Image transparency not honored in PDF
I found an old topic saying that transparent backgrounds for images don't work in PDFs. This still seems to be the case in Flare 10. Hasn't this been fixed?

I'll test this theory. I do have the latest .NET installed. We need it for our own product.
Thank you,

Wow. That's obscure, but it does seem to be the problem. I'll read up on this more to try to understand how this works. Thanks.

Re: Heading level variable has me stumped
Nope. As it happens, it is set to 1. Every style attribute in the css for H2 is applied to H1 styles. Every style attribute for H3 is applied to H2 styles. I'm stumped.

Heading level variable has me stumped
In my Page Layouts, I have put the variable heading.level1. This gives me nothing. I've been going around with this all day and decided to try some other heading levels to see what happened. The "anyLevel" variable gave me all the headings as expected, but heading.level2 gave me the headings styled ...

Re: Clicking tab floats page
I don't think so. This problem happened before Flare 9.1, but not after, and since installing Flare 10. I haven't changed my mouse settings. ClickLock is not on, speeds are defaults.

Clicking tab floats page
Every time I click a tab in my workspace, the window floats. I can't figure out how to click a tab to just make the window come to the top. It doesn't matter how carefully I click, depending on how many tabs I have open, every third or 5th click on a tab floats it. Is there any way to prevent this ...

Get rid of editing options for images
When you right-click an image and select "Open Linked File With...", you get a choice of programs. Some of these are actually inappropriate for the file type, and some are simply in my way. Is there any way (including editing the registry) that I can get rid of the ones I don't want?

I want to have my bubble text left justified to match tooltips in the software program I document. I don't see any way to do this. What am I missing?

Re: Caption on Images
I know this is an old thread, but it is not the "alt" attribute that makes the tooltip anymore, it is the "title" attribute.
I want to add the title attribute to a css style that I can use for my images. Is there a way to do this?

How to make nested dropdowns indent
Hi, All,
I want to make some nested dropdowns similar to the ones shown in the image:

You can see the page at http://wiki.mcneel.com/rhino/help/commands/arc_command.

Re: I want to change the output location of the .chm
Thank you for your answers. I simply want to avoid having to remember to manually copy and paste my chm file to the appropriate folder so it is checked into our source control correctly. If we have .chm files, they are distributed with our software, not run from a server. Thanks again.

I want to change the output location of the .chm
Flare buries the .chm output file about three folders deep from where I want it to go. Is there a way to make it go where I want it to? Can I get rid of all those extra files?

Table of Contents appears on TOC
A simple solution probably exists for this, but I can't find it.
I don't want my Table of Contents topic to appear in my table of contents. I want the topic to exist so print users have it, but It should not appear as the first entry. Right now my table of contents looks like this:

Thank you all. The case-sensitivity WAS the issue. The snippets are SnippetBlocks. This project was imported from RoboHelp, so I run into mystery anomalies from time to time.
