Re: Is any one perturbed about Flare still a 32bit app?
I for one would definitely welcome any way to access more memory. I have 32 GB of RAM on my home machine </brag>, and it would be a major blessing.

Re: Flyout Menu Cut Off Except in IE
Here is a part of the message received from Support: It has to do with how Chrome and Firefox use their scroll bars compared to IE and Edge. Since your first level of your TOC is so long, a second scroll bar is required to scroll through the flyout menu. In IE and Edge, the second scroll bar is ...

Flyout Menu Cut Off Except in IE
I'm using topnav with menu.flskn. Click the hamburger in IE and the titles are aligned correctly (02.png). Click the hamburger in Chrome or Firefox and the titles display correctly for the first time only. Click it again to return to the flyout, and titles are jammed to the left. (01.png). This ...

I think I'll just redefine ol and ul, then try to create something for 2nd level bullets. Any ideas?

Indenting existing bullets
I've inherited a project that was converted from text files. It received quick and dirty formatting. Problem I'm having is that the bullets and the numbered lists were all made at the same level, but we need some (but not all) bullets to be indented under the numbered steps, sometimes to 2 levels ...

Re: Word wrap in PDFs
Well, just to finish this thread, I will have to go to a smaller font and skinnier page margins, although I cringe to say it.

Re: Word wrap in PDFs
Thanks, but that won't work because some of these names would span the width of the table if not hyphenated. I don't see any solution other than creating a separate line for each, but I'm definitely open to suggestions.

Word wrap in PDFs
We have a lot of tables that contain things like function names. Problem is that the names wrap in PDF output, with a hyphen at the break. This makes it impossible to look these words up, since only a portion is on one line and PDF isn't smart enough to concantenate.

Word counts for many, many topics
I have about 10,000 topics across 20 projects. Boss would like a word count for each topic, to show savings for translation. Does anyone have a macro or other whiz-bang idea for doing this w/o opening each file?

Re: Link error on iOS devices only
I should have worded that more carefully. I know what links and click handlers are, but I'm looking for anyone who has ever tried to actually do this.If anyone who has actually implemented click events instead of using a link could fill me in on how you did it, it would be a mitzvah. It seems like a ...

Re: Link error on iOS devices only
Dev now says it wants to use "click handlers" instead of anchor links in Toc files. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? If so, have you tried it?

Correction - this happens when the user selects the Contents or Glossary options, in iOS only. It tries to open Safari, and then logs the user OUT.

Link error on iOS devices only
When selecting the Help button on iOS devices only, my Mobile Help wants to open Safari to resolve the link. The app is Web-enabled, but the Help is local only; it cannot reach any site. This does not happen on Android devices; we do not support Windows devices. Specifically, our QA says: "This ...

Marking text for review
My writers want to use colors for reviewers who use our PDFs. Green for added text, red strike-through for deletions. These colors are to be output; they are not for condition marking. I can make span classes, but it's a pain to unbind them one by one after review.
