Re: Figure Caption -- Keep With Next
You don't need to manually edit the XML, as in type the code character by character, if that is what you mean. You can do it through Flare's normal editor: select the caption and the figure, then click the Group button in the toolbar/ribbon (I haven't got access to Flare at the moment, I can't ...

Re: Figure Caption -- Keep With Next
Steve, I think you could also put the image and caption in a div and set it to avoid page breaks inside the div, I think that is an available option.

Re: Floating labels inside images
Edits in Capture are non-destructive, including adding bubbles. The "edits" are stored in an props file (XML) that sits with the image file (Capture creates the props file). This means that you can make unlimited changes to an image without affecting the image quality, and more importantly, without ...

Re: Toggle: Is expand all an automatic display option?
Hi. I am not sure if there is such an option (I'm not in Flare at the moment). Although it sounds like a viable option, I think it might be going a little bit against the purpose of togglers. If your users use the search box to search for content that is inside a toggler, the toggler will open ...

Re: Crazy question - "Build Primary" vs "Publish Primary"
You can use Build for testing. You might not want to Publish to a webserver every time that you just wanted to test the output. It isn't redundant.

Re: Index problem - same spelled keywords listed separately
Hi Shawn
Concerning the Index keywords panel, Flare help says: "Please note that the fields in this dialog are case-sensitive; therefore, if you enter a term in all lowercase letters, that is how it will be displayed in the output."

Hi Shawn!
You are not alone, I think there are a few topics about this. I get this problem too, but I can usually get around it. As well as closing the previous PDF, I usually have to exit the PDF app altogether (I use Foxit, so I don't think it is an Adobe issue, although I also had this problem ...

Hi Jenny
My guess is that the problem is somewhere inside the body. It sounds like you corrected line 6, so the problem is not there, and it sounds like you have a closing body tag, so something has gone wrong with an element inside those tags. Your line by line compare should highlight the problem ...

Re: Invalid XML
Hi, welcome to the forum!
I'm not sure how it happened, but you have a closing body tag on line 6 instead of an opening one. You need to remove the / so that it is just <body>. You should have a closing body tag </body> at the end of your content.

Yes, you can. Your Capture profiles are stored (default) in My Documents > My Profiles . In there you'll find a file for each of your profiles, with .capro file extension. You can share these files with your colleagues.

Re: Issues with Back function in HTML5 Flare 10.2
Hi, I just tested this in an HTML5 project in IE11 (Win7 64) and it works as expected for me - when I click browser "back" to return to the previous topic, all links are still functional.
Are you on v10.2 or v10.2.1? Maybe that is the difference.

Re: Add Title to Mini TOC
Thanks Dave. It's not working for me. I assumed the miniTOC proxy goes inside the MCMiniTocBox div on the masterpage, is that right?
In output, I get the MCMiniTocBox div autonum text in every topic, whether or not there are child topics.

Re: Add Title to Mini TOC
Thanks Dave. If I put this on my masterpage (set at target level), the div autonumber does not turn off when the miniTOC is suppressed (because of no child topics). Is that your understanding also, or have I made an error along the way?

Label for miniTOC?
Hi all. Is it possible to add a text lead-in to a miniTOC proxy for online output? So something like "This section includes the following topics..." (a bit like the label you can use with concept controls or related topics controls).

Re: Capture or Snagit.
Hi Shawn. The root of this problem goes back to another issue that I think we both have concerning Capture: although integrated with Flare, it is still external to Flare, which means you can't do any intelligent edits to the image in Flare itself. You have to come back out to Capture. Normally that ...

Ok right, thanks for posting the screenshot, that helps. So the TOC panel is simply not displaying at all (in this case, my comment about nesting TOC items is not relevant - I had the wrong idea about what was going wrong). This definitely sounds buggy. What version of Flare are you using?

Re: TOC in HTML5 output does not expand automatically
Hi - could you post a screenshot of what you see (the error situation)?
Using default settings, the TOC should display all the items that are at the top level of you TOC (or all the items that are aligned left-most when you view the TOC file in Flare).
