Hi,
Here is the result of comparison of Flare 11 and Flare 12 outputs:
1. EPS images not displayed in PDF output (I am trying to get ghostscript for 64-bit installed by IT Support team and hope that fixes this issue)
2. Table row styles seem to take precedence over p.note styles. Can't figure out ...

Flare 11 to Flare 12 Upgrade
Hi,
Has anyone upgrade from Flare 11 TopNav to Flare 12 TopNav? If yes, were there any issues?
I have a Flare 11 TopNav project and use SVN for source control. Curious to know if I need to clean-up any of the project files before the upgrade.
Thanks,
Deepti

If I have bookmarked a topic, where can I find the list of topics that I have bookmarked. I wish the list would be somewhere under my forum login so that I can access my favourite topics easily.

Thank you for share. I am experiencing similar problems and after reading this...looks like I have to redo the master project files into appropriate folders and set up all conditions.

Hi,
Is there a way to achieve this within ordered and unordered lists? I have li followed by p.note or div.extendednote and I want to keep the li and note together.
Thanks,
Deepti

Hi,
If anyone is looking for a fix for this, modify the stylesheet for the Home page.
Open Home stylesheet (StylesforHomePage.css) via the text editor and insert the code below.
Thanks,
Deepti

Hiding h4 in TOC but allowing it to appear in MiniTOC (print
Hi All,
I have tried a lot but cannot get this to work.
I want to hide h3 (within the topic) which is h4 in the TOC, but I want h3 to appear in the MiniTOC generated at the Chapter beginning and Topic beginning. See screen shots.
I have set mc-heading-level of h3 and h4 to 3 and 4 in order to ...

I had the same requirement. Thanks to the slideshows in Flare, I have added a marquee in the masterpage using a slideshow.

Phew... finally stumbled upon the culprit when I was trying to fix something else. There was no stylesheet linked to the OtherTopics masterpage. As soon as I linked the appropriate stylesheet, this issue got fixed
Thank you.

Re: TopNav - Slideshow - extra border
Hi Dave,
I have checked my stylesheet for Home page. Here is the code.
I am not sure why the code gets doubled up in Topic.css and why it overrides this piece of code in the stylesheet.
Thanks,
Deepti

Re: Top Nav - Snippets brought over
Hello,
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I guess there were some local styles applied to the paragraph. I reset the style class in the source file and there were no problems after reimporting the file.
Thanks a lot.

Thank you Dave. I will submit a feature request on this one. I don't know if it is just me, but, I think such setting the condition at the instance level will be quite helpful in single-sourcing content.

Slide show in Top Nav
Hi,
Someone in my company with very good eyes, pointed out that the icons in the slideshow are not centred. The gap between the prev arrow and the left image is not equal to the gap between the next arrow and the right icon.
Has anyone tried to fix this?

Thanks,

After reading many discussions on this topic, I decided to modify the "Where Do I begin" button in the TopNav template to "Help - Tree View" so that users can switch easily to either view.
