Cannot unbind from source control
I use git for source control, but I do not have my project bound to source control in Flare, as I prefer to manage checkouts and checkins manually. I installed Flare 2021 r3, and my project was automatically bound to git. I want to unbind it. I have tried Project > Properties > Source Control ...

Cannot find Language Skins
I want to change "facing page" to "next page". I understand that the way to do that is through a language skin. According to the Help for Flare 2017 r2, which is what I have, I should be able to do this:
1. Open the Project Organizer.
2. Double-click the Advanced folder.

Re: Maximum length of value for a variable
I am creating the page layout for the front cover for PDF documents. One requirement is to have an abstract of the document on the front cover. This abstract can be, but is not necessarily, the same as the first paragraph in the preface for a document using this page layout. The ways of facilitating ...

View Links not showing incoming links for a few topics
For most of my topics, View Links is listing the incoming links in the Linked From area. For a few topics, however, View Links reports no incoming links. These are topics that I know are in TOCs and that I know are the targets of cross-references in other topics. (I've triple-checked this.) The ...

Last line of last glossary entry on new page
In the glossary in my PDF output, the last glossary item falls near the bottom of the page. Flare is taking the last line of the definition of that item and putting it at the top of a new page, even though there is room for it on the previous page and even though the glossary definition class has ...

Re: Include different index link sets in different documents
The index entries targeted by the links I don't want are in topics that are not included in the target TOC. In the generated output, the links appear as See references to the nonexistent index entries, and clicking on the references doesn't do anything because the topics with the entries are not in ...

Re: Include different index link sets in different documents
I created a separate index link file and set the conditions on it for the documents in which I want the links to appear and not for the document in which I don't want them to appear. My target was already configured to include the condition I want to appear in it and exclude the other conditions. I ...

I already have a condition for each of my targets, but I don't see a way to apply a condition to an index link set.

Include different index link sets in different documents
I have index links that I want to appear in some outputs but not others. It seems I can create multiple index link sets, but I cannot figure how to include them in different outputs. Does anyone know whether it is possible to do this, and if so, how to do it?

Multiple "See" references for single term
I defined two "See" references for a single index term. When I build the PDF, the index contains only the alphabetically first reference. For example, the term "cables" has a "See" reference for "power cables" and a "See" reference for "Ethernet cables". The index in the PDF contains only "cables ...

Expand/Collapse All not showing up in WebHelp Toolbar
In my WebHelp skin, I have Expand All and Collapse All selected to appear in the WebHelp Toolbar, but they are not showing up. Other selected items (such as Remove Highlight and Next Topic) are showing up just fine. Any idea how to get Expand All and Collapse All to be there?

Long headings breaking badly in PDF TOC
I'm creating a PDF with Flare 10. I have a couple of chapter titles that are long, so they require two lines in the TOC. The lines are breaking very strangely in the TOC. The chapter number appears below the word Chapter, and the chapter title is on a line at a height between the word Chapter and ...

Re: Generating alias file: missing topic in report
I'm getting the "Generating alias file: missing topic" message when I generate my WebHelp. In my alias file, I had added and deleted then added the entry for the topic that's having the problem. The alias file and header file both look correct in Flare. When I look at them in a text editor, they ...

Conditional text underlined in PDF
