I'm working on an HTML5 project that incorporates a large number of audio files. I used Flare's media player to imbed these in my topics (Insert->Media), and they work great using Flare's previewer, and I guess they work with Internet Explorer, though I avoid that beast.
However, when I try to ...

Re: How to open in XML Editor from Find in Files
It does happen whether i'm searching in code or not; otherwise, I'd consider it the correct behavior.
As for clicking the icon to open it in the xml editor: I knew about that and it sort of works -- it opens a separate tab, so you now have two tabs editing the same file, which is confusing. Not so ...

How to open in XML Editor from Find in Files
I'm using 10.1. I frequently do use the Find/Replace in Files, searching in a content folder and specifying "Find All", so I can then iterate through some or all of the files in that folder that contain a phrase I want to change.

Re: Real-time collaborating without Contributor?
I'm in the same position: working for a software company that is all Linux/MacOS, which makes review/contributor issues really difficult with Flare. We love Flare's single sourcing, but the PC-only restriction is very limiting, and I may be forced to change tools in the future because of that. Our ...

Need to use different URL for print vs web
I've got a Flare10 project with multiple books. I generate a single web version that contains all of the books. And I generate a separate PDF version for each of the books.
If I want to link to a topic in one book from a topic in another book, i can create a hyperlink "to a file in this project ...

Re: Cannot add toolbar icon image
Thanks, Rob. I got it to work (without knowing that was the exact issue) last night, and meant to post a follow-up.
One thing, though: it might be good to have a succinct page or two that walks one through the process of adding a button, putting an icon on it (with sizing info), and associating a ...

Re: Next/Prev Topic arrows at top versus bottom
That did it! Thank you. I didn't realize the "topic toolbar proxy" was the piece below the topic.
Much appreciated.

Next/Prev Topic arrows at top versus bottom
I'm using Flare 9, HTML-5 target. My skin has Next Topic and Prev Topic buttons that show in the top toolbar on my page; they also show just beneath the content of each topic as I navigate through.
I'd like to either add padding above the bottom topic arrows (without changing the appearance of the ...
