Well ... it exists ... but only if i generate output as preview of the current topic in MadCap Flare.
I did not generate the whole PDFs since it takes too much time for testing. So i just viewed the preview and there the condition tags of MadCap ...

Some more details:

I have a MadCap Flare project with target output CHM and PDF.
I have a condition called "Print".
The CHM output ex cludes the condition "Print".
The PDF output in cludes the condition "Print".
I have a MadCap Capture image inside my Flare project.
So i have acces to all ...

My apologizes if this already has been answered elsewhere but it seems i'm not able to find it.

What i'm trying to do is to provide images in different quality for print and screen media.
Since the images are screenshots in screen media they are displayed as is.

Second, if this left margin is only for printed output, make sure that the left-margin style is only set in the Print section of the style sheet. Then do your editing in the Web layout, so you can see the style names. I think this is the only solution for the moment.

Just out of curiosity, how much margin do you have on that style? It is -2.5cm. This is for print output only. I want some margin notes beside the main text but I do not want to create a second column because the margin notes would not flow with the main text where ...

I have a strange problem with the styles menu in Flare.
By "styles menu" i mean the dropdown input in Flare in the main menu "Start" where you can select a style from your stylesheets to apply it to a pragraph. In this dropdown you see a preview of the styles such as font-family, font-size, colors ...

The odd behaviour of showing the next entrys in the breadcrumbs i could not track down.
Just some update: I was able to reproduce this even with a new project.
This only happens if you (accidently?) use the same topic multiple times .

Well, i could not reproduce any of the breadcrumbs issues with a clean new project.

I deleted the output folder: No luck.
As soon as a TOC entry is not linked the breadcrumbs are getting worse.
(notice: i inserted the breadcrumbs inside the master page - not inside the topic itself. would this make any difference?)

To clarify: are these the breadcrumbs to the topics inside the book, that don't work? Yes.
They are under the book.
(The book itself dosen't display anything if not linked)

Though removing the link of empty topics in the TOC solves the problem with empty pages a new issue occurs :(
Problem is i have a breadcrumbs-proxy inside my MasterPage.
The breadcrumbs won't work if the empty parent topic is not linked to an existing topic.

Given the description, I suspect that the app is loading the CHM via a network share. Nope.
It is all local.

I found the issue.

I talked to the developer and he recalls that we already had used headerfiles and ids many years ago (before i worked at the company) but ...

I opened my chm.file using the commandline: and it displayed the correct topic.
So it seems to be a problem with our application?

I have solved my problem for the stylesheets.
(And surprisingly for the images where i thought it worked - but it actually did not. Dunno why it seemed to work yesterday. Maybe i was inspecting the wrong file...).

In Flare I did not specify a filename for the target output. So Flare used by default ...
