Re: Frame to Flare
I think the answer is that I have to manually add the topics I want into the TOC for that output.

Re: Printed Content Missing
As an aside, the content is missing from the "UserGuide" target that my project established.
I was able to add a new PDF target with a custom name, and it correctly grabs all the topics.
So, my original question remains. Any thoughts on why my content was missing?
Cheers,
Sean

Printed Content Missing
Hi,
I created a project with one style sheet, imported a FrameMaker book, and can publish HTML 5, my primary, okay.
But, when I publish PDF, I get only four default Flare pages and no other content (TitlePage, TOC, Welcome, and Glossary). The TOC only lists Welcome and Glossary.

Thanks all. Gave up on that iteration. Doing over from scratch -- except I kept my CSS to reuse

Re: Better way to replace styles (in a table)
It was a good idea. Search didn't work reliably, however.
For example, i searched for the following. Understand that I could see this in the html code and could copy it from the code and paste it into the find field, but Find Next did not find it.

Better way to replace styles (in a table)
I imported from FrameMaker into an HTML 5 project that was empty but for which I had created some styles (CSS) for mapping to.
I mapped to. However, my table styles were not presented for mapping. I wanted to map TableBodyCtr to p.TableBody, for example. p.TableBody was there, but the import never ...

Bump.
Same question about page layouts. What are they used for?
I had one broken cross-reference error importing a book. So, I rechecked my book in FM for unresolved cross references and found none. I reviewed the chapter in question and found none. Reimported, same error. So, I threw everything ...

Re: Why two style sheets? Modern vs Styles
If it helps you imagine what I am seeing, the CSS called StylesForHomePage has body defined as "Arial" "12pt," whereas MainStyles.css has body defined as "Aruial, Avenir, Myriad" also "12pt".
Cheers.

Re: Why two style sheets? Modern vs Styles
Hi,
I started by importing a FrameMaker book. Mapped everything. Told it not to keep FM styles. And then opened up the result.
I chucked it all away after some playing, because there were styles like, p.SeanFMStyleName but I wanted only p.
So, am retrying by starting a new project with no initial ...

Generic Selector Not Working
In Styles.css, I tried adding a generic selector called "Center" to center align tagged content.

Why two style sheets? Modern vs Styles
Hi,
I looked in the online help and watched the videos. I get that Flare gives me a CSS by default. But, I see it gives me two! Modern and Styles.
Which do I use as my main style sheet? How is inheritance arranged between the two? What is each for? what's the difference between them? I only want ...

I forgot how to set the CHM filename and had to come back. I kept clicking the button next to output file and never thought to just type. Glad I asked this before.

Re: Reverse Engineering CHM but CSH Data AWOL
Thanks. Flare did import it, but I had also tried the HTML Help route via Microsoft. Thanks for your post; I'll look at the sections you mentioned and see if I can create a header file from there.

Reverse Engineering CHM but CSH Data AWOL
Hi,
I have projects to update for which only a CHM exists. I have found that using these to start a project in Flare 11.1 works admirably.
However, the original CHM was set up to be context sensitive, but none of that context sensitive data seems to persist in the resulting project. That is, htm ...

Hi,
Where do I set the output CHM filename? Such as, MyHelp42.chm?
Also, where do I set what appears in the CHM title?
Don't assume I know where stuff is. For example, if you say it's in the Caption field of the Skin editor General tab, I will spend an hour looking and never actually find such a ...

Thanks for the ongoing support. Here is something that will help me save some time and heartache:
