Thank you, Dave. I see what you're saying. Fortunately for me, in this one case, I wanted to clear all those other p tags as well. However, I am going to make a note for future reference.
I have been wondering about regex and Far5; specifically, I have been wondering why searches in Far5 don't ...

Re: Removing Inline Formatting via RegEx
Hi Dave,
Thank you for your clarification; the regex beast is a tough beast to tame!
Those searches worked for some reason. There are no "<p style" entries in my project after I replaced all. I did it this way because I didn't want to remove "<p MadCap" or "<p class=" tags; I just wanted to ...

@Dave - No matter how many images I put in the mc-image property, the original graphic displays. Is there some other property setting that needs to be set up to work with mc-image?

Re: XML Editor locking up after applying table styles
@Dave - I imported the files again to do another test. When I right-click on files, the Convert to XML option is grayed-out. I don't know why and can't find anything in the Help that would explain it to me. I do know that at some point in the last conversion - and I don't know why - I was prompted ...

Re: XML Editor locking up after applying table styles
Just following up on the HTML tag removal. There is a very easy way to do this that I just discovered yesterday: right-click on the inside HTML tag and select Unbind. This will remove the top and bottom HTML tags.

Re: "Related Topic" popup changed with version 10?
@Dave - Thank you. I had a feeling it was something like that, but I wanted to make sure.
Is there a way to change the graphic that shows up next to related topics?
I tried adding a background image to the MadCap | helpControlMenu and that didn't do it.

So, if I change the styling for MadCap|HelpControlMenu and MadCap|relatedTopics in the Modern.css located in

Does Flare support server-side includes?
Hi,
My manager is trying to take advantage of server-side includes (SSI) to reduce the load time for items like the footer table. Does Flare support this functionality?
I would need to be able to:

Re: Context-sensitive links to website output
@Marjorie - How do you control what the ID is? I thought the system assigned it.
My manager would like to have the links leave off the ".htm" at the end and I'm not sure how to do that at the moment. If I made my IDs like yours, would that deliver what he has asked?

What you're saying is making sense. Thank you for the analogy about the phone system; that crystallizes what I've been seeing into a usable framework.

When you say remain the same, do you mean "\Website Output\Default_CSH.htm#TopicID"?

Re: XML Editor locking up after applying table styles
Final follow up - with the fix!
This issue came down to two things:
1. I had to uninstall .NET (completely!) and reinstall it.
2. I had to remove the XML tags.
For some reason, when these files were converted to XML, XML opening and closing tags were added to each file:

Context-sensitive links to website output
Hi,
My web output is to HTML5. My company has put this on a web site as opposed to a local copy inside the software. They would like to link that web site from the software. Furthermore, they would like those links to be context-sensitive to the module level. This means about 12 to 15 links.

Hi Paul,
I think I'm following this discussion and realized that I have been doing this the hard way for a number of years. In the past, I just gave the developer the topic names and they hard-coded it.
Using the method you describe, it seems like they still have to hard-code it; it's just that ...

Turning arrow icon in the Text Editor
Does anyone know what this little icon in the Text Editor means ?
Originally, I thought it was a manual line break, but that's not it. I don't know how to look it up in the Flare help because I don't know what to call it.

I am having the oddest problem. The first letter of each Heading 1:

has a line above and below it
cannot be deleted in the XML Editor (I can delete it in the Text Editor)
