I think Flare 10 provides that. On the target Warnings tab there's a checkbox for "Use target build warnings instead of global settings" or you can set it for all projects on the current computer in File | Options | Build.

You can add it to the new Flare 11 Toolbar skin file. On the Setup tab of the Toolbar skin is the "Custom JavaScript to include in Toolbar page" option.

Here's how I set up my project so that a topic title only has to be updated in one place. I needed to keep the following synchronized:

The title at the top of the document (in an h1 tag)
The title in the HTML title tag
The Topic Title attribute on the Topic Properties tab of the Properties ...

Nita, that was exactly the problem. I must have unintentionally chosen that option when I inserted the snippet. So I just learned something new--I can imagine situations where the text option would be helpful, even though this wasn't one of them

Does anyone know if this functionality is available in Flare 10? I've looked but can't find it. But technically it has to be possible, because the book containing the startup topic is always expanded by default. I just want the whole TOC to be expanded by default (it's a very small TOC).

Has anyone been able to use Mimic to record themselves giving a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation? When I try, Mimic only captures the first slide, even though it captures my narration for the first and subsequent slides.

Steve, thanks for the helpful information. I didn't realize we were talking about two different things: display resolution and resampled resolution. I'll take your advice and play around to try to find the best (re)solution.

Thank you for the information, Nita and Jennifer. In the files props files I've created so far, only the <shape> tags have contained text for translation. I suspect those are the only tags, but without a schema, I can't tell for sure. Good idea to contact Support--I'll let you know what I find out.

I am having the same issue and I and tried the solutions suggested above--i.e., I made sure I saved the document before switching to text editor, and I also made sure the right page layout was specified on the Printed Output tab of the TOC entry.
