Re: What fonts to use
Does anyone use different fonts for headings when going to print-based output (FrameMaker or Word)?
If so, how do you do it? I tried keeping Verdana for body and selecting Georgia for all the headings, but I think my css might be invalid...?

Re: DTD declaration
I don't use Eclipse but I join the original poster in wondering why MadCap uses a DTD declaration from its website. I am an XML amateur but this proprietary website pointer for the .xsd file raises red flags for me.

Re: Flare and TFS workspaces
Thanks for your reply, forfear. I think the loss of connection might be a Flare issue rather than http protocol because the path in the error message makes no sense - it's my local drive path appended (suffixed) with the network directory used for TFS. This error appears every time I close and ...

Re: Problems with opening projects in Team Foundation
Our doc team is faced with the same situation - the developers are moving to Team Foundation Server (TFS) from VSS so we will probably need to as well.

The pending check-in message appears for me, too, on both VSS and TFS (we are considering moving from VSS to TFS).

Re: table column formatting
Thank you! I discovered that I can avoid losing td classes if I avoid using the TableStyles CSS. I am now relying on th, td, and td classes in the StyleSheets CSS to get the background and text alignment properties I want, without having to reapply if I delete or add rows. Yay!

Re: table column formatting
I'm not alternating row colors or column colors, but I am using unique shading for heading rows and body rows (plus a third shading, or background color, for certain table cells). Have you had success avoiding use of a "TableStyles" CSS when background color is needed for all table cells?

table column formatting
I see two alternatives for custom formatting of table columns. For example, I want to center the text in the three right-most columns but left-align the text in the left column.

Thanks for the reply, Paul. I'm pretty sure the demo was not created with Flare. I suspect you're right that scripts and divs would be required.

make a topic show only one of many content bits?

Re: Have you successfully created a PDF using the Frame target?
Hi Alex,
Flare 3.1 does not output Frame tables with heading rows. As far as I can tell, you have to fix it in the Frame output. There's nothing you can do in Flare before outputting to Frame.
Looking forward to seeing Flare 4 - my wish is that it removes this issue (or that the new Frame-less ...
