It's true - this error only happens on the machine on which the Flare project was bound to VSS. I just asked my coworker to create a Flare project and bind it to VSS, and the problem happened on her machine, but not mine.

I am getting this error with VSS 2005. My coworkers are NOT getting the error. I'm the one who bound the project to VSS. I'll have to try asking them to bind a project to VSS and see if they get the error and I don't next time.

the TOC does need to be imported

I looked back over my notes and I always did import the TOC. It appears that Flare derives its master TOC from the FrameMaker TOC file.

But I delete the FrameMaker TOC file from the project after the import is done (just to avoid clutter).

Remove confusion from rating workflow

In a Help deliverable (WebHelp or .chm), select the number of stars to assign as a rating to the displayed topic and then click the Submit button.

Synonyms cannot be exported from Feedback Explorer

In Feedback Explorer, open the Synonyms window and then select File> Save To (or File> Save As), entering the desired file name and location.

Actual results: No file exists.

Thank you. I had no idea this workflow could be achieved (thus removing the perennial tweaking) - how do you get the FrameMaker TOC to convert to WebHelp contents?

Do you think it might work for print output? I would like to try out your workflow and see.
