Re: Has anyone migrated to the Git integration?
I finally came to the realization that there was just no real reason to use the Flare-Git integration. Using SourceTree as our Git client works great and Flare just doesn't need to be involved. The only thing I have to be careful about is to close Flare before I switch branches (it hates to have a ...

Hey, Sean,
There's a couple methods.
The most straightforward, I think, would be using the Windows Explorer search. You should be able to just type the file name and it will display the directory for you.

Re: How to add a page before the ToC?
On short notice I am asked to provide a PDF of a WebHelp project. For the most part it is fairly easy to produce something presentable, but I am stuck with one problem: I added a simple title page and dropped that into the top most spot of the ToC that I am using for the PDF output. Unfortunately ...

Boy, that would be amazing, Ron. For whatever reason, Flare still lacks basically any support for description lists. It would be a super sensible feature to have, here's hoping that it's implemented in Flare 12.

Re: Any clever way to compare 'now' with 'last published'?
When do you create a branch, on what basis?
What tags do you apply to what things as far as document versions are concerned?
How do you compare content for individual targets rather than the entire branch?
How do you 'archive' your branches? Or do you only archive the outputs, in which case ...

Re: Small images within a list item or paragraph do not alig
So there's no sign of a table. I can't explain why it happens in numbered paragraphs but not in 'plain' paragraphs, like p (except when they're in tables).
Are you seeing that in the output, or just in the XML Editor?
As a general PSA, I've found the XML Editor doesn't seem to do a good job of ...

Re: Importing directly from SVN repo versus local project
In order to get a reliable build, the process is:
1. Do "Get latest all" in the project you're importing from (to make sure you're actually importing the latest files).
2. Do "Get latest all" in the project you're importing to (to make sure your build project is up to date, prior to import).

Re: Importing directly from SVN repo versus local project
I can't find a setting on my import file that would always bring all files in each time I generate. I'm trying to set up some automatic builds so I want Flare to copy all the files from the original import regardless of their timestamps.

The Logo Url box is visible on the Setup tab of the Top Navigation skin, but, unfortunately, isn't supported for the Tripane skin. If you don't see it on the Setup tab, my guess is you're using Tripane.

But if the information in this thread is accurate, then source control is only feasible as long as project linking is not used? Is this true or have I just not found the proper setup to support both multiple authors and linking?

Re: Translated Flare Project - want to move forward
Not a problem, Bob, glad that worked out!
As a quick trick, when you're browsing the Translation Memory, you could do a Ctrl+A to select all those segments, and copy/paste them over to the Spanish language (if that eases things for the future). But yeah, glad we got it back on track. =)

Do you know what the iOS version is? Apparently there are some known issues with Javascript-based printing on versions of iOS earlier than 4.2. I'd assume you're using a version way later than that at this point, though.

Not to be a bummer, but negative values for padding are invalid in CSS. If that has an effect in Flare, that's probably a problem with their CSS parser and the XML Editor. If that works in browsers, my guess is what you're seeing isn't related to the ...
